Moderate tempo with Shigeru Boss leading the way. LEA LEA (4) hasn't featured at her last two runs, the latest when 7 lengths away in ninth at Kokura. Will find this easier and she can bounce back. BREAK THE SONG (7) was unplaced on turf over 2400m at Tokyo two back then again couldn't find the top-three on the same surface last time out, finishing 11th over 2400m at Tokyo. Nicely placed and worth following up back on dirt. SHIGERU BOSS (9) showed good speed over 1000m at Hakodate Dirt but faded right out of it to finish tenth. Should be in the finish in this weaker race. NOBLE ORCHID (8) returned from a break with a disappointing tenth over 1700m at Fukushima Dirt last start after settling well back. One of the main contenders on best form. Can atone.
