Slick tempo with Curren Chunky to lead but under plenty of pressure in a keen early contest. KAZU ORVAL (10) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing second last time out over 1400m at this track. Should be close to the speed despite the draw. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. CURREN CHUNKY (6) is coming along nicely this prep. Finished 12th when fresh from a spell two starts back at this track then improved and scored over 1500m at this track three-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by a neck after being in the firing line on the corner. Going up a level this time but she can win again. IDEA NO KISEKI (5) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at Kawasaki. Not as effective last time out when seventh over 1400m at this track, beaten 3.5 lengths. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. RYOTA SPECIAL (9) improved sharply last time out to score by 4 lengths over 1600m at Funabashi two-and-a-half weeks ago. Strong chance again.
