Genuine tempo from Matilda leading Clean Bravo. MATILDA (10) is a three-start maiden who filled a minor placing at this track at the last run before spelling. Tricky draw to overcome but rates highly. Looks the one to beat. NOCTURNAL (1) is a progressive type still in first campaign but off to a great start to career. Placed last time over 1500m at Nagoya but prior to that put together three wins on end. Among the chances on best figures. CLEAN BRAVO (7) got the prize two runs ago at Monbetsu. Not as effective last time out when third over 1400m at this track, beaten 7 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot make amends. MOZU YAPPARINE (6) disappointed last time despite good support when 11th over 900m at Kawasaki. Could improve.
