Tricky to map but expect For Better to position forward. Moody-Coleman-trained FOR BETTER (10) was well supported here on debut but had to be content with the second place, 3L behind Omaha Dawn. She had some work to do and will be better for the outing. Meech stays aboard and can run her along from the inside gate. THE SHOWVINIST (5) debuts and is also in a leading metro yard. Owns a trial win on the Pakenham synthetic and draws to advantage. Will be well prepared and is likely to threaten. Godolphin-trained TRISKELE (13) presents third up with the first time blinkers applied. She makes her synthetic debut and should be ready to show more. CAPTIVATE LEGEND (8) is a speed-bred debutant from the Alexander yard who bears watching. Like the above, she draws an awkward barrier.
