Abundant early pressure from the speedy pair Italian Riviera and Alpha Bravo. ITALIAN RIVIERA (1) impressed when scoring as favourite on debut over 1000m at Sunshine Coast Poly three weeks ago, racing on pace early before taking over and saluting by a length. The switch to the turf is some query but he looks promising. RUN LUCY RUN (9) made an encouraging debut over 1200m at this track last start, finishing second and beaten half a length. Jumps from a wide draw but is open to improvement and the longer trip should suit. ALPHA BRAVO (4) is another that did a good job on debut last time out, finishing 2 lengths from the winner in third over 1200m at this track. Can progress. TIME TO PROPHET (5) ran on for fourth in the QTIS Jewel last start to follow a good first-up win at Townsville. Can figure in the finish. JEMOMA ALPILAGE (8) was an eye catcher when running on first up so the longer trip will suit. SUGGESTED PLAY: Debut winner Italian Riviera to go on with it.
