Strong early tempo assured with Phala Millions, Pearl Harbor and Hat Man locking horns. PHALA MILLIONS (1) ran a fair race in his last start over 1160m at Turffontein. He raced from just off the pace and stayed on well at the finish, finishing third of nine. Jumping from good draw can shed his maiden tag in this field. BEACH DAY (8) is an unraced daughter of Canford Cliffs from the Robyn Klaasen stable. . If not too green, she should start her career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to her chances. EVE'S APPLE (11) looked well in need of her debut effort over this distance on the Turffontein Inside course last start, finishing seventh of eight. She would have come on from the run and can improve to finish in the placings. PEARL HARBOR (2) ran eighth of 15 last start at this track over 1000m. In this line-up deserves another chance.
