Scorching early speed from Sexy Commando and Gemology, together with Hirari crossing from an outside gate. HIRARI (11) wasn't far away on debut last start over 1800m at Hakodate, finishing second and beaten 2 lengths. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Will give another great sight. AORAKI (7) turned in a sound effort last time but found a couple better at Hakodate over 1800m, beaten 1.5 lengths. That run should have him rock-hard fit now. The testing material for the top pick. GEMOLOGY (5) finished third on debut last start over 1800m at this track, beaten half a length. Will derive great benefit from that experience and is sure to be in this for a long way. TOSEN WALT (8) has started twice, missing the frame on debut but ran a better race when second last time, beaten a neck over 1800m at this track. Should be in the mix again.
