PETRICHOR (16) was prominent in running on debut 12 weeks ago and battled on well for second over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt. Has not been produced since. Tricky draw to overcome but should be in the finish again. THE TIME HAS COME (1) returned from a spell two weeks ago when she was beaten 7 lengths into 12th over 2000m at Chukyo. Strips fitter and can feature. ROUGE EPIC (3) faced the starter for the first time and finished fourth last start at this track over 1800m, beaten 2.75 lengths. Open to improvement and can play a significant role. BRIGHT BERYL (7) is on debut. By Uncle Mo and comes from the Mitsumasa Nakauchida stable. Pay to watch for any positive betting moves. |

BATTLE AX (15) is back after a break of four months. Went close to a maiden win before the layoff, finishing second at his latest appearance over 1400m at this track. Has ability and can get off the mark. ANIMA RAY (14) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at this track over 1400m after being in the firing line all the way. Should be prominent despite the awkward gate - expect another big run. JA NALIA (1) is yet to break through after seven starts. Placed two back then last time out was fourth, beaten 1.1 lengths, over 1400m at this track. Finds a nice race and can measure up. CHURCHILL DEUCE (16) has not raced since his debut on January 12 over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt when he finished fifth, beaten 7 lengths. In the mix with that run under his belt. |

GREEN GO (13) is back after a break of 11 weeks. Went close to a maiden win before the layoff, finishing second at his latest appearance over 1900m at Kyoto Dirt. Ready for a bold return. DON'T TESTA MASTER (4) was well fancied last start over 2000m at this track when third, beaten 6 lengths. Ryusei Sakai has registered two minor placings when on board. Expecting another positive showing. MARGOT BUDDY (6) finished third, beaten 2.75 lengths, when resuming from a spell last start over 1900m at Chukyo Dirt. Hard to beat in this suitable race with that run under the belt. GONTA (11) raced once in the maiden preparation when eighth at Nakayama Dirt over 1800m back on January 17. Open to improvement this time in work. |

AQUA EYE (11) is progressing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at this track over 1400m. Settles close to the speed. Finds a suitable race and can make it to the winner's circle. MIGHTY KINGDOM (6) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 1.5 lengths from the winner in second over 1400m at this track. Looks well placed so expect another big run. DANON BELLE VUE (13) is a four-start maiden who returned last time and finished fifth at this track over 1400m, beaten 3 lengths. Definite top-three hope with plenty of improvement to come. HAPPINESS SUNRISE (16) finished fifth when resuming two runs back then did a good job last start but found a couple better over 1400m at Chukyo, beaten only 1.5 lengths. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat. |

HAM TAN (16) finished third, beaten 2.5 lengths, when resuming from a spell last start over 1800m at this track. Has the race experience advantage over many of these. Should feature in the finish. FORCE TRANQUILLE (6) turned in a solid run on debut last start, beaten half a length into second at Chukyo over 1600m. Promising type with improvement to come so she should pay to follow. PRESS RELEASE (8) is a well-related three-year-old colt lining up for the first time. By Danon Smash from Delfino who has produced some fine gallopers, including winners at black type level. Sure to be well-educated, being from the Mitsumasa Nakauchida yard. Definite contender. IKUOKUKONEN (3) is a three-year-old colt on debut from the stable of Takashi Saito. By Suave Richard from Nozze D'argento. A good gate is sure to assist. Pay to watch for any positive betting moves. |

TAKERU HURLOCK (6) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing second and beaten only half a length over 1400m at this track after being prominent at the corner. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. Z SPUNKY (7) did a good job when fresh from a spell last time out, finishing second and beaten only 1.75 lengths over 1200m at this track when he did his best work late. Strips fitter and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. GABBY'S BROTHER (5) is a progressive galloper who is first-up since finishing ninth over 1400m at Chukyo Dirt eight months ago which was the only run of that prep. Should be involved in the finish. T O MILLIKAN (4) came home strongly last start to finish second, beaten one length, over 1200m at Chukyo Dirt when coming back from a break. Should be winding up late again. |

Allowance Race 1800m
ARC D'OR (5) has been in the money at his last couple of runs, the latest when second over 1800m at Chukyo Dirt. Not a great deal of depth to this race so he looks a great chance to break through. EIYU FIRE (4) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 14 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt, beaten 13 lengths. Placed to advantage so expect a big run. BASILIS (9) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track, finishing second and only 1.75 lengths from the winner at the end of 1800m after being in contention on the corner. Nicely placed to take this out. G T AMERICA (8) improved second-up last start but found a couple better over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt, beaten 7 lengths. No surprise to see him in contention. |

DIADOCHOS (2) is close to breaking through, last start finishing just a neck away in third over 1200m at this track after being in contention all the way. Finds an easier assignment and can take the next step and salute. LILY FIELD (7) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1200m at Kyoto, beaten 6 lengths after being in contention on the corner. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time. TAGANO ENFANT (1) returned from a spell three weeks ago when he was beaten 3.5 lengths into seventh over 1200m at this track. Has a fair record when second-up, including two top three finishes. Finds a suitable race and can take this out. SANDORO NIGHT (9) finished fourth over 1200m at Kokura at her most recent appearance on July 20. Among the better hopes. |

AURUM ARES (2) wasn't far away last time and is edging towards a win, the latest effort a solid second over 2200m at Listed level at this track. Extra trip a plus and he is among the main hopes. BLACK OLYMPIA (4) is a promising galloper who got the prize at his only run last prep ten weeks ago over 2200m at Kyoto. Winning rider Yuga Kawada stays aboard. Good fresh performer who should be in the finish. CUT SOLO (3) got off the mark over 2400m at this track last start, scoring by 0.8 lengths. Re-unites with Ryusei Sakai who was on board last start. Must be respected now that the penny has dropped. TAGANO ALTURA (9) broke his maiden three starts back and has not been far away since, most recently when beaten a neck into second over 2400m at this track. Seinosuke Yoshimura stays on. Not to be discounted. |

BIDAAYA (7) came home strongly last start to finish second, beaten a neck, over 1400m at this track when fresh from a spell. Ryusei Sakai who has scored on him three times retains the mount. Very honest and should be in the finish. YAMANIN OURS (8) went to the paddock after scoring at his only appearance last prep eight months ago over 1400m at Group 3 level at Chukyo Dirt. Yutaka Take who has scored on him four times is aboard. Sure to play a big role. BERGERONNETTE (12) has put together a couple of wins at this circuit, the latest on February 21 over 1400m when he got home by 0.8 lengths. Meets some better types this time but a big run is on the cards. KITANO'S EDGE (5) found the line nicely last start to get up for third over 1400m at this track when fresh from a break. Among the better hopes. |

ANDURIL (8) is a handy type who resumes after a break of three-and-a-half months. Only appeared once last prep when he finished a respectable seventh over 2000m in the G1 Hopeful Stakes at Nakayama, beaten 4 lengths. Has two wins to his name when fresh from a spell. Sure to be in the finish. THUNDERSTRUCK (6) resumes after a break of 12 weeks. Hoping for a repeat of his debut win over 1600m at Nakayama to kick off last prep. Expect him to pose a serious challenge. RESORT ISLAND (3) is back from a spell of three months. Closed last prep as a winner, taking out a 1600m Listed race at Nakayama by a nose. Is very effective at this distance with two wins from three runs. Winning claims on best figures. ASK IKIGOMI (14) scored on debut last start over 1600m at Tokyo on February 1, finishing 1.75 lengths ahead of the nearest rival. Up and comer with definite claims. |

PORT DE LA MER (5) resumes. Didn't make an impact at her only run last prep on January 18, finishing seventh and beaten 4.5 lengths over 1400m at Kyoto Dirt. Good fresh performer with two wins from four attempts. Looks a winning chance. OKEANIS (6) is back from a spell of six months and does go well when fresh, including a win to launch last campaign over 1800m at this track. Will be hard to stop. MEIKEI REIN (3) is back from a break of nine weeks. Closed last campaign with a narrow defeat over 1400m at Kyoto Dirt. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. TSUNESAN (15) ran a better race last start, finishing 4.5 lengths away in sixth over 1200m at this track. Suitably placed so can build on that latest effort. |
