NUM TIME COMMENT
1 11:49 MC POLYTRACK HANDICAP 1400m
Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Final Flush. COUNTRY GOD (1) wasn't beaten far over 1200m in this grade last time out and stuck on well behind a good winner, beaten just 1L. Riordan remains in the saddle and her claim comes in handy. Getting up in trip now looks a big tick and he can land the knockout blow this time. SO SI GOD (8) finished off strongly in easier company when just missing in a photo finish. Back up to 1400m is no issue, though the draw is a little query. She's shown good ability early in her career however, and she'll be hard to hold out if she runs to form. WHEELY (9) was impressive when running over the top to score his maiden win as favourite at Pinjarra last time out. Should be suited by the slight rise in trip and he can repeat the dose from a good draw. GANGSTER GODDESS (6) wasn't far away after sitting on the speed at Pinjarra most recently and is not to be discounted. GOD'S CROSS (4) is better than he showed last time out and can improve now out to 1400m.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Country God in the opener.
2 12:24 WITTENS IRRIGATION & DESIGN HANDICAP 1400m
Avoidance and Dug Another Hole to take up the running at a strong tempo. AMJAAD (5) was strong off a freshen when coming from behind to be 0.4L off the winner at this track and trip. She should be better for that effort and this looks to shape similarly. The form out of her last start has worked out well and she can land the knockout blow. AVOIDANCE (3) was a good winner two back before leading them up in the Grandstand Cup and tiring late. The win two back over this trip rates highly though and he should be able to find the front again here. Can dictate and will take catching. ROCK 'N' THE JAM (9) was sound on resumption off a year-long break and that effort suggested he was back in similar form. Fitter for that run now and his best form is very strong for a race like this. Can return to winning ways without surprising. DUG ANOTHER HOLE (7) is not out of this on recent form and can be handy in the run.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Amjaad looks the one.
3 01:01 DAVE MULLEN WINES: THE ITALIAN WINE MERCHANT HANDICAP 1600m
Expecting Decoration to take up the lead at a genuine tempo. HOLLER NUFF (8) missed narrowly fresh before getting the job done at his last start over 1200m at this track. We'll get a guide on his form in the opening event of the day, with this son of Justify stepping up to the mile today. CJP sticks third-up and he can bring up back-to-back wins. STYLISH LORD (1) is racing well without winning, being in the finish in stronger races than this recently. He comes into this on the fresh side and gets some help with ZJP's claim. Won't have to work too hard from the good draw today and can return to the winners list. MACCIATEAU (7) is one who is going better than his form suggests. He stuck on well behind a smart one last time out and now gets a chance to sit closer from a good draw today. Like the way he's ticking along and now he gets his chance. MORE THAN ENUFF (6) is fitter now and can improve on the fresh effort. MANHATTAN STRIP (9) is right in this on his best form.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Holler Nuff can repeat the dose.
4 01:41 TABTOUCH - WESTSPEED PLATINUM HANDICAP 1600m
Hope To Rule and Rommel's Goddess will press forward in a keen battle for the lead. MANGIFERA (8) comes back to Saturday grade today where she has performed well in the past. She was just edged out last time at Pinjarra in a CL5 over the mile and she rates highly on the back of that effort. Needs a touch of luck from the draw but her form says she's good enough. PRECIOUS GOD (7) flew home to score over 1500m at Pinjarra last time out to steal the win in a photo finish. She draws well again today with the rise up to 1600m no issue on what we've seen this time in. Scratched at the barriers late last month but she looks to be trending the right way. THE SPRUIKER (9) missed by 0.2L last time out when sitting close to the speed at this track and trip. He ticks a few boxes today and his recent form stacks up. Include. ROMMEL'S GODDESS (3) rises up to the mile today and should get every chance off the inside. HARLEQUIN PRANCER (5) ran up to her form here last start and has to be included up in trip.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Mangifera goes on top.
5 02:21 DAVID DELLA ROCCA HANDICAP 2200m
Strong pace from Rock In Wonder and Fey King matching motors with Cheyne Bay close at hand. WESTERN LADY (8) was on the quick turnaround over 1800m here last time out, missing by 1.1L as a short-priced favourite. Up in trip again today is no issue and the tongue tie is applied. She draws much better this time around and she can bounce back to winning ways today. FEY KING (5) got back to winning ways last time out over 2100m at Belmont 10 days ago and as he continues to work his way back after over 2 years on the sidelines. CJP rides now from a favourable alley and with further improvement on the cards, he can get the job done again. AUDIO BOY (2) rarely turns in a poor effort, beaten 1L last start over this track and trip last time out. Nottle remains in the saddle and she draws a little better today. Keep safe. CHEYNE BAY (3) is ticking along nicely in his past couple and won't be far away. PHAROAH SHOW (4) fitter again now and can be in the finish again.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Western Lady looks the one to beat.
6 02:59 ROBERTO'S ON BENNETT HANDICAP 1400m
Desert Waves has the pace to lead in what is likely to be a moderate tempo. WESTBOUND (6) resumes today and showed plenty of talent in his debut campaign, winning in a photo finish over the mile at this course before the break. He's an exciting gelding on the way up and his recent trial under CJP was good. Maps beautifully today and can pick up from where he left off. DESERT WAVES (5) stuck on well to finish 1L off the winner last start in a race that's turned into a strong form reference. There's been 4 winners from 7 starters since and he jumped the race favourite on that occasion. He's building nicely and ticks plenty of boxes again today. DON'T TRUST JUDAS (1) flew home over this course and distance last time out to score by 0.6L. Steve Parnham remains in the saddle and he beat home Desert Waves two back. Can be in the finish again. PLAYING GAMES (4) gets the blinkers on now and can be in the finish.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Westbound can return to winning ways.
7 03:35 PERTH STAKES 1100m
Genuine tempo with the speedy He's A Machino leading the way. BEATTY (1) resumes today for the Casey stable and was very impressive in his two runs before a break. His trial coming in was very good and the effort he turned in before the break is one of the highest 2YO figures produced this season. He creates plenty of excitement in his return. HE'S A MACHINO (2) bolted in at the trials before running into Aurum Belle on resumption in the Supremacy Stakes. He'll be fitter for that run and the better draw today is a big tick. Drops in weight and can get the job done with the added fitness on his side. BOY CRUSH (4) comes here without a trial after going under narrowly as the odds-on favourite before a short break. CJP rides now in a good push for his chances and he can fire. WOLF WHISTLE ZEL (3) trialled behind a subsequent winner recently and showed enough in his first campaign when winning as an odds-on pop. Won't be far away. AFIREOFGIDGEECOALS (7) can be handy from the inside draw and should get his chance if good enough.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Beatty can extend his winning streak.
8 04:10 SWAN DRAUGHT - GIMCRACK STAKES 1100m
Aurum Belle and Mr Kaplan can be prominent. AURUM BELLE (2) went to another level last time out when winning the Supremacy in fine style with sustained speed. Up to 1100m doesn't look and issue and she has enough speed to offset the tricky draw. She's an exciting filly who can keep her unbeaten streak alive. MARIA LUCIA (1) was too good in the Magic Millions, running over the top to score as the odds-on favourite. Parnham remains in the saddle from that effort and she showed good adaptability there to take a sit. She rates highly off that effort and can get the job done again today. JEDI DREAM (5) bolted in on debut 21 days ago, landing midfield and running away to score by 2.1L. This looks to shape similarly today and she's not to be discounted. YAMANEX (7) ran on from midfield to miss by 0.9L in the Millions but she rates well off that effort. Can bounce back. LADY TORQUE (9) can be finishing off strongly yet again.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Aurum Belle gets the nod.
9 04:45 PKF - ROMA CUP 1100m
Solid tempo anticipated with Cut The Talk leading the way. Keen to see SMOOTH CHINO (6) on his return after coming on impressively last campaign, culminating in a dominant win in the Black Heart Bart. He's still unbeaten and looks a genuine Quokka threat. He's impressed at the trials coming in and he can return with a bang in the Roma Cup. OSCAR'S FORTUNE (1) won the Rock Magic in a photo finish when jumping the $2.50 favourite off a freshen. He's fitter for that effort and he has enough speed to roll across from out wide. Wouldn't surprise to see him go on with the job. WEST STAR (4) ran up to his form in Victoria without featuring. Back home in WA now and his recent trial was very good. Can lob just off the speed and make a statement with CJP in the saddle. LUANA MISS (9) is an exciting 3YO taking her place here after tackling the Winterbottom before the break. Include. ROPE THEM IN (2) looks ready to fire first-up with two trials under his belt, the latest behind Smooth Chino. Big chance.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Smooth Chino looks the one to beat.
10 05:21 BARBARO BUTCHERS HANDICAP 1000m
Genuine tempo from Gi Gi Pops leading Thermosphere Lad. THERMOSPHERE LAD (3) resumes without a trial but ended last campaign in top order with a narrow defeat in stronger company. Can land in a good position from the draw and he boasts a strong fresh record. Big chance if he can pick up from where he left off. JUST SAINT JAMES (5) disappointed before the break but was in top order prior. He won nicely first-up and Parnham boasts a strong record aboard him. Nice trial coming in and he can make a statement. SIR DREAMALOT (4) was good fresh at Albany when ending up 0.8L off the winner. Brad Parnham replaces the apprentice hoop today and he should be close to the speed from an inside draw. Can improve off that effort. GI GI POPS (10) is another who comes here without a trial coming in. The inside draw is a big tick and the blinkers come off today. Carries no weight and creates plenty of interest. CANNYKEV (6) was far too good last time at this track and trip and won't be far away.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Thermosphere Lad can win the last.
