CENTRAL COAST KIDS IN NEED BENCHMARK 64 HANDICAP 1625m
Only a small field with Cha Cha Cha likely to find a comfortable lead. KEEP AT 'EM (4) has turned in a couple of eye-catchers this prep, the latest over 1400m at Newcastle where he came from last to get up for third. Registered the peak rating last time in work when he got to the mile. This looks a perfect third-up assignment. BRAZIL (2) shouldered 61kgs but was still too good last time out in a BM58 over today's journey at Albury. Tackles a better race today but drops 5kgs after Grima's claim. Good enough to be competitive in this line-up. The lightly raced COULTER (1) dug deep late to win his maiden recently over 1400m at Kembla. Going straight to a BM64 is a big ask but there is plenty of scope for improvement, particularly over the extra trip. CHILLY CHARLIE (3) hasn't won for a while but continues to race well. Game in defeat at Hawkesbury last start and he should be at his peak at the third run of the campaign. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keep At 'Em looks a nice bet to start the day. |

DE BORTOLI WINES 2&3YO MAIDEN PLATE 1000m
Not a great deal of pace on paper so it may be left to one of the debutants to roll to the front. BILLABONG (1) is back from a 27-week spell for Gai and Adrian. Led and just failed to hold on at her first race start over this distance at Kembla then pulled up lame at Hawkesbury and was turned out. Two recent trials will have her ready for a positive return. DINGLE GREY (2) has not raced since starting favourite over this distance at Port Macquarie in October and finishing an eye-catching second. Placed in a trial at Hawkesbury on 24 February. Will be putting in the big strides late. REIGN 'EM IN (5) is a first starter by Time To Reign who is a half-sister to two stakes winners. Trial form suggests she has enough talent to test this field. Locally trained NOT ASKING (3) placed in a Beaumont trial on 24 March and should give a good account on debut. SUGGESTED PLAY: Billabong to lead all the way. |

SKY RACING SUPER MAIDEN HANDICAP 1100m
Cheeky Sort to take up the running at a moderate tempo.
BALMORAL CASTLE (2) is back for a second campaign off a four-month spell. Finished second in a hot form race on debut over this distance at Murtoa then placed at Rosehill and achieved her peak rating. Winning chance if she can reproduce those performances this time in work. PRINCESS DANE (3) is a debutante by Star Witness from a Dane Shadow mare who has been a remarkable producer of winners over 13 seasons. Went close in a recent Warwick Farm trial so a bright start looks on the cards. WINTERS KISS (5) is a Frosted filly on debut for the Hawkes stable. Four trials going back to July 2025 should have her ready to make an immediate impact. MOANA GOLD (6) is back from a 16-week spell. Made up plenty of ground to finish second when first-up last prep over 1250m at Newcastle. This might be a bit short but she will be storming home. CHEEKY SORT (7) knocked up at the end of 1200m at Kembla last start so coming back in trip is a positive development. SUGGESTED PLAY: Balmoral Castle to open the account. |

LIMITLESS LODGE MIDWAY CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1100m
Lots of speed predominantly from The Netball Queen, Frostisen and Dear My Friend.
Speedy filly FROSTISEN (6) lined up for only the second time last start and showed a great turn of foot to easily take out a Hawkesbury maiden over today's trip. Has been well found in betting at both starts and is living up to the market confidence. Ready to take this next step, particularly in her own backyard. MASTER YODA (4) showed little early muster but really knuckled down late to get the chocolates on debut over this distance at Goulburn last time out. Not sure staying at 1100m on a tight track is ideal, but with natural improvement to come he should be highly competitive again. HE'S COOL (3) easily accounted for Frostisen over this course and distance two back then closed late for third when a month between runs at Port Macquarie most recently. Proper contender. DEAR MY FRIEND (1) last appeared when an all-the-way winner over 1000m here in October. Trialling well and is right in the mix. THE NETBALL QUEEN (5) bolted in here last start and cannot be underestimated. SUGGESTED PLAY: Frostisen to continue her winning ways. |

ELSIE'S PROJECT MAIDEN PLATE 1300m
Many of these step out for the first time so a genuine tempo is expected. CHATTERLEY (10) was scratched from Warwick Farm midweek to be kept for this first-up assignment. Talented filly whose career highlight was a two-length third in the Group 3 Reginald Allen at Randwick last prep. Two trials have been quiet leading into this - betting crucial but on face value she looks the one. TUPAKARA (12) started at $1.40 but gave away too much start and finished second when resuming over 1200m at Scone a fortnight ago. Placed behind Apocalyptic in two legs of the Princess Series in the Spring. Running out of friends but she is good enough to sweep these aside. CELLPHONE (1) is a Trapeze Artist gelding on debut for Waller. Two good trials in March look to have him ready for this assignment. Debutant JUMP AROUND (2) could sneak into the placings and add juice. SUGGESTED PLAY: Chatterley and Tupakara are the class - leaning to Chatterley. |

THE DOYLO LIFESTYLE GROUP CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1300m
Easiest Choice should lead at a strong tempo. IN LIMBO (6) led and just failed to hold on over today's trip at Hawkesbury two runs ago. Dropped back to 1200m at Newcastle last start but was left a bit flat when they quickened. In the right race to bounce back to form. MISSILE MAGNATE (1) went back from a wide draw before rallying late to get up for second last time out over 1200m at Gosford. Can settle a bit closer from the better gate and at the third run back over an extra 100m and will be at his peak. SERPICO (4) had an 11-week spell before recording a barnstorming maiden win over 1350m at this track five weeks ago. Kept fresh which might be the key to him. Capable of a repeat performance. The speedy EASIEST CHOICE (3) comes here off a seven-week freshen up. Lightly raced mare with a strong SP profile so must be considered. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen to be with In Limbo. |

CLUB MUNMORAH PROVINCIAL MAIDEN PLATE 1350m
Expecting Penalties to take up the lead at a genuine tempo. TURNING CIRCLE (9) started favourite but after racing back in the field and wide could only manage fourth when resuming over 1206m at Port Macquarie last start. This step up in trip from a far better gate is a desirable scenario. In form apprentice Shannen Llewellyn, with a terrific 29% strike rate for this stable, goes on. Looks a nice bet. FORCE MARCH (4) has been ridden quietly then stoked up late to be beaten just under two lengths in his two appearances to date, the latest over 1300m at Newcastle. Open to further improvement and will be hard to hold out. DWIGHT (3) disappointed at Hawkesbury recently but is a winning hope if he finds the form that saw him beaten in a photo over 1200m at this circuit two runs back. KORITSI (8) raced wide so should be forgiven her last start failure at Gosford. Cherry ripe third-up and will enjoy this slightly longer journey. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Turning Circle. |

CAMP QUALITY CONDITIONAL BENCHMARK 68 HANDICAP 1350m
Genuine tempo from Bold And Blazen leading Ocean Chill. OCEAN CHILL (9) moved up nicely to lead in the lane but found a couple better late in the piece when resuming over 1300m at Kembla last start. Up slightly in grade but drops 3.5kgs after the claim and strips fitter. Sure to be there at the business end. COSMEENA (3) scored over 1200m here first-up but has been outclassed in two subsequent outings in Provincial Championship qualifiers. Back in her right grade today so give her another chance. BOLD AND BLAZEN (4) was never on the track so his failure in a Rosehill Midway last Saturday should be ignored. Form prior to that was good enough to make him highly competitive. ALFRED (7) is not the most reliable conveyance. Won here at this trip two back then found a BM78 a bit rich last start. Can feature in this easier contest if at his best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Ocean Chill. |
