NUM TIME COMMENT
1 12:18 Ladbrokes Red Centre Luncheon 1st May Handicap 1200m
Genuine pace with Lucky Fortuna taking up the running ahead of River Frost and Mougenot. Plenty of win chances. ZESTIMAN (6) made debut for the new yard with a near miss here a fortnight ago and can only be improved. Drawn the fence and can go one better. LUCKY FORTUNA (10) is having first try this area but has been in great form in South Australia. Looks well placed and expected to feature. BAHAMA BAY (1) was runner-up here before a break following a good campaign and does go well fresh. Low draw and should feature. RIVER FROST (4) resumed from a long spell with a huge win here in easier. Fitter again and among the chances. GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS (9) is a former Victorian who is best know as a middle distance galloper but will appreciate this class and does run well when fresh. Keep very safe.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Stick with Zestiman.
2 12:53 PFD Foods Fillies & Mares Marquee 18th April Book Now Handicap 1100m
Slick tempo with Chief White Sock to lead but under plenty of pressure in a keen early contest. PUB CRAWL (4) is part of the Healy team having first start this area but comes here in great form in SA. Speedy type drawn low and will take catching. REVOLUTION RISING (2) returned over 1000m here and ran well, finishing runner-up. Fitter and looks a top chance to go one better. CAP TEN (5) is a former Victorian who wasn't far away at Edenhope last time. First try this area and rates highly on best. CHIEF WHITE SOCK (1) was fourth fresh after a long spell but will be far fitter for it. This suits and expected to improve sharply. HELL OF A GENT (3) is also fitter for a solid return and will be winding up late.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Pub Crawl.
3 01:28 Ladbrokes Blackbook Maiden Plate 1000m
Dynasty Reward should spear straight to the front of the small field. Small field but good race. DAD BOD (2) is a former Victorian four start maiden. Placed only try fresh and rates highly on best Victorian figures. Low draw and can go close. SAXON BEACH (5) has been given a let-up for a sharper this. Long overdue with a string of minors and will be tough to stop again. DYNASTY REWARD (3) is another long overdue placing four of last five. Speedy type who should be prominent again. STAMPED (6) resumed with a fourth here and kept fresh since. Strips fitter and expected to figure prominently. BENDER MCGEE (1) is a form Hong Kong galloper who started here once for the new yard and placed before another break. Can go close again.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Watch for Dad Bod fresh.
4 02:03 Scope Building Handicap (Div 1) 1400m
Genuine tempo from Better Not Fuss leading Highstrung. Looks a good race for HIGHSTRUNG (6) who is long overdue. Placed four of last five, the latest runner-up here at the mile. On the quick back up and expected to go close again. STEP FORWARD (4) resumed from a long break with a BM54 win here over 1200m. Fitter and extra trip suits. NASHA (7) resumed this journey when kept coming and placed. Strips fitter for it and worth following up. CEE PEE ONE (5) resumed from a long break with a fair fifth here at 1200m. Has a low draw and the claim. Maiden win was this journey and should be in the mix. TAIPAN TOMMY (1) is a veteran galloper back from a long break. Has a great record here and has won fresh.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Stay with Highstrung.
5 02:42 Cup Day Members & Sponsors Luncheon in the Pavilion Handicap (Div 2) 1400m
Small field that lacks a pacemaker so a modest tempo is likely. Open race with most struggling to find winning form. BODMIN BOY (2) was well below best last time here when fifth but form prior strong. This suits and well worth another chance. THE ACCELATOR (1)has been given a let-up since finishing fifth over a mile here last time. Back in trip and back in grade in recent runs. Can do much better. THE BIG FREEZE (4) is not to be underestimated despite finishing seventh latest. Strong record course and distance and looks a huge chance on best form. SHEER REWARD (5) was beaten for early dash over 1000m fresh. Extra trip a huge plus and can improve sharply. ANPHINA (6) is back in good shape and can play a role in the finish.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Bodmin Boy can atone.
6 03:22 Cup Day Members Lounge Luncheon 3yo Handicap 1400m
Price Share is the probable leader in the small field. Looks a good race. LAWS WARS (3) stepped up to this journey at third run for the new yard and broke through for a maiden win. Drops in weight after the claim and can go close again. STANDARD STREET (4) resumed over 1000m and was beaten a head by Grinzinger Tundra in an eye-catching return. Fitter and extra trip looks ideal. Meets the winner slightly better at the weights and can turn the tables. GRINZINGER TUNDRA (2) was immediately off the mark for the new yard with a determined win. The former Victorian does look well placed here at the longer trip though and can go close again. PRICE SHARE (5) made debut in that same race and placed third. Can only be improved and likely to be highly competitive again. LEVERAGED BUYOUT (1) is in form and will give a sight again.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Follow up on Laws Wars.
7 04:01 Red Centre Technology Partners Handicap 1600m
Mummsie should find the front with Valley Prince and Starton on her heels. Small field but should be a keen contest to find the find. VALLEY PRINCE (3) was placed here fresh over 1200m then stepped straight to the mile and was beaten a nose. Will be fitter again and can go one better. STARTON (2) is long overdue for a win having placed last three. Genuine type close to a win and will take running down. MUMMSIE (5) is another long overdue for a win. Placed 3/4 this course and distance and will be in this for a long way. FABERGE TZAR (1) is another former Victorian who is well travelled and has won here so worth keeping safe.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Valley Prince can go one better.
8 04:41 The Cabinet Shop Tradies Day 11th April Free Entry Handicap 1600m
Altar Boy, Grinzinger Bishop and Magic Defense can set a good tempo. Great race to end the card. MAGIC DEFENSE (3) has never won at the mile but deserves one after some top recent form. Has won two of last three and is weighted to go forward and take beating again. GRINZINGER BISHOP (4) was safely held in the Strathalbyn Cup last time bit given a let-up since. Has a good record this circuit and brilliant early pace. Will give a sight. THE GIRL'S BOY (2) found winning form third-up over 1400m and should be at peak. Placed only try course and distance and can measure up again. IKNOWHATYOUREDOING (5) is fitter for a good return after a long spell. Rates highly and expected to do much better with that run under his belt. ALTAR BOY (1) wasn't far from the winner last time and has a great record course and distance.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Sticking with Magic Defense.
