NUM TIME COMMENT
1 01:40 Farm & Diesel Maiden Plate 1100m
Bold Amore should lead at a strong tempo. INNER THOUGHTS (9) looks the clear danger. Sat handy and placed fresh then got home late for fifth latest. Strikes a firmer track this time and will find this easier. Can atone. BOLD AMORE (1) went forward and weakened from a wide gate last time. Draws much better and will give a sight. SARAYA (7) is a 26 start maiden but has ability and is ready to hit best form after a few runs back. Placed only try at the trip. CHEERS TO US (6) has pace and off the low draw should give a sight.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Inner Thoughts gets the nod.

Not much early pressure but Minesite, Cilento and Here Comes Wozza can take up forward spots. MINESITE (3) has been thereabouts without winning, the latest when fourth in a BM70 and not far from the winner. This far easier and gets chance to find some winning form. BEFORE THE WAR (2) is also down in class, tackling the same grade but richer company last time at Pakenham. Looks well placed here and expected to take running down. SURPRISATIC (1) is a great form lately including a last start Swan Hill win. Last time here ran on hard for a course and distance win. Honest and will be winding into the finish. HERE COMES WOZZA (4) has pace and looks a major player on best form.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Give Minesite another chance.
3 02:50 Kerang Plumbing and Pumps Maiden Plate 1400m
A few sit handy but there won't be a great deal of early pressure. Plenty of win chances. LICENSE TO EXCITE (10) looks overdue for a win, the latest giving a sight when runner-up last time at Terang. Has pace and expected to take catching again. PRESTIGE ERICK (5) was a near miss two back then finished fourth last time in a richer race at Ballarat. Can improve on that and gets chance. PRINCESS PRUSSIA (7) is another overdue for a win. Beaten just a nose last time at Yarra Valley and no surprise to go one better. UNTETHERED SOUL (9) was fourth on debut at Kilmore then improved to finish runner-up last time at Towong. Has further upside and can feature in the finish again. SPARKLES (8) has been going better than the form suggests and can measure up.  SUGGESTED PLAY: License To Excite to take catching.
4 03:26 "The Gannawarra" BM56 Handicap 1400m
Plenty of pace from Boulder Jack, Alternate and Capital Win ahead of Castlefield Flyer. CASTLEFIELD FLYER (4) is worth following up. Resumed over 1200m and found the line nicely for a close-up third. Was a second-up winner at only other attempt and looks suited by the longer journey. Goes close. ALTERNATE (2) was a determined winner in easier company fresh but did add to a strong 1400m record. Goes even better second-up so fitter can measure up again. BOULDER JACK (6) is ready to hit best form and will take plenty of beating. The 1400m is his best trip and has placed 2/3 when third-up. Gets chance. NO OVERTAKING (5) has been thereabouts. First try this trip but in the mix on best form.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Follow up on Castlefield Flyer.
5 04:04 Hon Peter Walsh MP BM52 Handicap 1100m
Pace looks sure to be genuine with Raging Monkey and Factually matching motors, closely followed by Bronco Revolution. Very even with the majority struggling to find winning form. FACTUALLY (7) led and just missed fresh then was safely held over the sharper dash second-up. This more suitable and worth another chance off a much better draw, SWEET CITY DANCER (11) placed two back then was another below best last time. Well placed here and gets chance to find some form. CHOSEN VENTURE (1) is fitter for two runs back and has placed the course and distance. Ready to win and expected to go close. WHISKEY AND BEER (5) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing seventh at Echuca over 1412m. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. MISHIMA (4) is a major player with the claim and low draw.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Follow up on Factually.
6 04:44 cluBarham Kerang Cup 1800m
Tyndrum Gold has the pace to lead in what is likely to be a moderate tempo. SUNSETS (2) is a city class galloper struggling to win in much tougher races lately. Will find this far easier and gets chance to find some form. Best figures CHASING APHRODITE (1) resumed in town then came home soundly when fourth in the Stony Creek Cup. Aided by the claim and ready to win after two runs back. Hard to beat. SOUND OF JURA (5) was a winner in much easier grade two back then carried 63.5kg last time at Swan Hill. This much tougher but plummets in the weights. Should be winding up strongly. STAR BUYER (4) won only try course and distance and should go close again. Much better draw this time after an out of character run latest.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Sunsets gets chance.
7 05:24 J & M Chaser Bins BM52 Handicap 1800m
Just a moderate tempo headed by Mash And Gravy, King Alla and Machinegun Krelley. Weak race and giving KING ALLA (2) another chance. Was going well before last start when pushed forward from a tricky gate and tried to lead throughout but weakened late. Well placed this line-up and drawn better. Well worth another chance. TARSHIN (9) was runner-up in a highway two back then thereabouts last time. Best form stacks up and drawn for a soft run. Gets chance to find some form. REAL INTRIGUE (3) wasn't far from the winner last time and can feature on best. ZIGGY STARCRAFT (5) is editing back into form, the latest finishing runner-up. Placed only try at the trip and shapes as a key runner. OVERLOADED (13) is back in great shape with a mile win in easier company and fitter can play a role in the finish.  SUGGESTED PLAY: King Alla can atone.
