Plenty of pace with Loaded Weapon and Too Many Kisses leading from Honourbefore Glory. LOADED WEAPON (4) recorded his first win last start over 900m at Springsure, getting home by 1.5 lengths. Sparingly raced and nicely placed to double the win tally. HONOURBEFORE GLORY (2) has switched yards since finishing fifth a month ago over 1075m at Thangool. Finds a suitable race and likely to play a major role. HIGH SECURITY (1) hasn't been far away recently including last time out when third over 1300m at Moree. Deserves to break through and looks well placed to do so. OFFICE POLITICS (3) came home strongly last start to finish second, only beaten 0.6 lengths, over 1050m at Mackay. Among the main hopes. SUGGESTED PLAY: Loaded Weapon to go on with it. |

Expecting a strong tempo over this journey. MISSISSIPPI MORN (5) showed good early dash and led throughout to score by 0.7 lengths last time out over 1075m at Thangool. Good record at this journey with four wins and two minor placings from nine starts. The one to beat. JUST SUPER (1) was well supported when resuming last time out over 1100m at Springsure and proved too strong, scoring by 5 lengths. Generally runs well second-up and is among the winning hopes again. THE SQUIRE (4) has not appeared since he finished fifth over 1200m at Thangool on November 29. Makes plenty of appeal fresh. WRITTLE (2) has a decent strike rate so is capable of better than he has shown of late, including a last start ninth at Doomben. Finds a more suitable race and is in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Mississippi Morn can win again. |

Cracking tempo looks assured with many of these capable of pushing on early. OUTBACK BANDIT (4) was well fancied when resuming last start over 1000m at Barcaldine when third. Good record at this journey with two wins and four minor placings from nine starts and will be ready to run a big race today. DARK GLEAM (1) is having his first run since October 18. Goes very well when fresh with two wins from three starts, the latest over 1200m at Sunshine Coast at the start of last prep. Expect him to pose a serious challenge. GRANITE PRINCE (2) turned in a moderate run over this journey last time out, settling in a rearwards position and failing to make an impact when sixth over 1200m at Thangool. Tackling a more suitable race this time so he is one of the main contenders. NEW LEVEL (3) scored two back at this track but was below his best last time when fifth over 1300m at Mackay. Well placed to atone. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 4,1,2,3. |

A solid tempo is on the cards with Kenny The Baker and Saint Anns pushing for the lead ahead of The Jean Gina and Send The Money. LUNA READY (7) is a nine-start maiden who finished fourth at her most recent appearance over 1100m at Mackay. This looks a nice race for her to finally break through. KENNY THE BAKER (1) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at Springsure over 900m. Drawn for a nice run just off the speed. Strong prospects. SPEED KING (2) returns from a spell of three months and is having his first run for a new yard. Finished 11th at Eagle Farm over 1400m when first-up last time in work. Fitter for a fourth in a recent trial over 1050m at Deagon. Can make his presence felt. SAINT ANNS (3) turned in another moderate effort last start when seventh over 900m at Springsure. Suitably placed and can turn things around. SUGGESTED PLAY: Luna Ready to peak third-up. |

Strong pace from So Outrageous and Replace The Ace matching motors with Pampuni close at hand. REPLACE THE ACE (2) improved sharply with success as public elect over 1560m at Mackay two-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 1.75 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Looks a genuine winning chance again. DWAYNE (3) missed the frame last time when eighth at Rockhampton. Prior to that had been in the money on two consecutive occasions. Great chance to bounce back. NOTACLUEHOWORWHO (4) was an impressive 4 lengths winner over 1400m at Springsure last time. Penalised for that success but a definite winning hope again. PAMPUNI (8) made progress last time out, finishing third over 1400m at Springsure. This looks a good race for her so another forward showing looks likely. SUGGESTED PLAY: Replace The Ace can get the job done again. |
