NUM TIME COMMENT
1 12:34 LIGHT HORSE BRIGADE Class 3 Plate 2450m
Kerkorian should lead and control the tempo. KERKORIAN (1) was on pace and was a comfortable winner this grade at Doomben over 2000m. Went to Eagle Farm after and didn't handle the track conditions and pulled up with an issue. Is back after 19 days and will use the rail. Just has to run out the staying trip. RHODES (5) also races forward and will find this easier than his last two at Doomben. Noel Callow is a key jockey booking and will give him every chance to see out the longer trip. MAN OF HEART (2) improved his figures over 2200m at Doomben off a big poly track win. The 2450m should suit. TAVIESLASS (6) has a handy 2kg claim and should be around the mark.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Kerkorian.
2 01:09 AQUIS BEAUDESERT RACEDAY 4 MAY Maiden Plate 2450m
Breytenbach to take the lead and control the tempo. JUNGLE JET (5) came from the back placing behind Hatasu at Doomben over 2060 metres. Represents the sharp Vandyke yard and Cahill goes on for the apprentice. Fitter again and the staying trip should be right up his alley. Peaks and he's the one they have to beat. KAIROS LOUIE (6) improved sharply stepping up to a middle distance at Doomben in better class. That reads well and he should run out the extra metres. IN THE PICTURE (9) went close at Ipswich and then found Doomben too much of a stretch. Presents on a quick back-up with a 2kg claim and should be around the mark. MAJESTIC ANGEL (10) is also on trial over the staying journey but shouldn't be too far away.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Jungle Jet to win.
3 01:44 BEAUDESERTRACECLUB.COM Maiden Plate 1400m
Genuine early tempo from Holy Flash spearing across from an outside gate. LASQUETI BOOM (8) is third-up off narrow defeats here and at Ipswich. The former NSW galloper will give away a start but has more to give and rates the one they have to beat. ENOLABA (7) resumes for the Munce yard and has looked good in her Doomben trials. She has placed fresh and maps for a soft run. She's been off the scene for a while but is good enough and a bold effort is anticipated. COOL PANELS (2) debuts for the Gough yard and has also trialled well at Doomben. Cartwright stays aboard and expect him to go well. ALWAYS SPLIT TENS (5) debuts for Peter Robl and despite the wide gate must be kept safe.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Lasqueti Boom.
4 02:19 TAB WE'RE ON Maiden Plate 1400m
La Stella Atleta has enough pace to take up the running despite the wide draw. OCEAN ALPS (11) has been narrowly beaten at Grafton both starts this preparation and that's good form. Has scope for further improvement and is back after 11 days. LA STELLA ATLETA (7) didn't enjoy the poly surface and best to go on the impressive near miss at Ipswich on debut. Has the outside barrier but will be fitter and can bounce back with average luck. LUISANA (8) resumes and is up from Tasmania. She's placed fresh and her best would have her in the finish. WING NUT (5) debuts for the Waller yard off a solid trial. Has the blinkers applied and Wiggins' booking suggests he's pleasing. T  SUGGESTED PLAY: With Ocean Alps.
5 02:54 THE LAST POST Maiden Plate 1100m
Expect a solid tempo over the sprint trip. KOBE ASCOT (6) narrowly missed twice and then failed to finish the job at Toowoomba from a wide gate. The blinkers go straight on and drawn more favourably can get back on track. GOLD ACADEMY (5) resumes for a metro barn and is likely to be improved. Has been gelded and Noel Callow is a key jockey booking. Drawn well and is expected to be right in the finish. RISK ASSESSMENT (13) was outclassed first up at Doomben but has since been back to the trials and expecting a much improved performance.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Kobe Ascot.
6 03:29 LEST WE FORGET Class 2 Handicap 1100m
Strong early tempo with Super Duck driving forward from an outside gate and Thegirlsgotthis also pushing ahead. MIXED SPICE (2) resumes for the Page yard and has won 2/3 first up and 2/4 over this distance. Has performed well and Listed level and on song will take plenty of beating. CONEY ISLAND BABY (11) resumes and has raced at Group level. He's good enough at best and brings a sharp Beaudesert trial. He may be more forward this time around. PRADO (6) is going well and coming back to the shorter sprint following a freshened won't be an issue. He has claims as well.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Mixed Spice appeals.
7 04:04 DIGGERS CUP Class 2 Handicap 1400m
The speedy Badgers Nuts should find the front with Seventies Hit and Fearless Thinking on his heels. MISHANI KINGDOM (4) did a good job first up and followed with a narrow defeat in a 62 at Warwick. Fitter again and Noel Callow is a key jockey switch for the apprentice. He has plenty up the sleeve and the longer sprint suits. MORITZ GIRL (5) was switched north by the Neasham barn and needed the run at Doomben first up. Won her only second up outing and kicking off at 1400m won't be an issue. Maps for a soft run and is right up to this. LORD LUKER (2) switched from an SA yard and also needed it at Doomben first up. Has an awkward barrier but performs second-up and quick improvement is anticipated. FEARLESS THINKING (8) switched barns and was a big CL1 winner first up as expected . She then raced on speed over a mile at Ipswich and folded up. Has the rail and the shorter trip will suit better. Fitter and in the mix.  SUGGESTED PLAY: With Mishani Kingdom.
8 04:39 AQUIS BEAUDESERT RACEDAY 1 JUNE BENCHMARK 60 Handicap 1650m
Wonforwazza should lead but there are a few other speedy types who can keep him honest. KALENDS (8) resumed in a strong form race at Doomben and needed the outing. Delivered a comfortable Maiden win there following over this distance at Favourite. Races forward and fitter can take the next step for the top metro barn. AU REVOIR (11) went close at Eagle Farm before delivering a 55 win on the poly at the Gold Coast. Has an awkward barrier but peaks and can make the finish with average luck. Stablemate TANGO FAME (1) is back in grade and better than the numerical form suggests. Has a handy 2kg claim and may sit closer today from a better barrier. WHISKY TRAIN (9) was an easy Maiden winner here on a heavy track over this distance. Has the early speed to clear the wide barrier and presenting at peak fitness isn't out of it.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Kalends.
