BJORN IRONSIDE (3) ran a decent race on debut to finish third of 11 last start and was then put out for a spell. Gavin Lerena is booked to ride and fresh-up from a good draw has winning claims. TWENTY ONE MAY (2) showed good improvement when fourth of 10 in his last start over this distance at Scottsville. He lost a length leaving the start, but rallied late. He is a progressive type and from his good draw of two, he should pose a threat. LITTLEBLACKGEM (4) produced a promising debut effort over this distance at Scottsville last start to finish second of 12. She would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, she should give the males a decent run for their money. TOP GUN (1) is on debut. By Danon Platina and is out of the Paul Lafferty stable. A good gate is sure to assist and he is a top-three chance. |
