SABATINI (3) ran a good race to finish fourth of 10 here in a Listed event last time, despite the saddle slipping. She shows good speed in her races and she should give the males a decent run for their money. LUNARCAM (5) has been in the market at his last couple of starts since resuming but hasn't made an impression, last start running fourth at Scottsville. Having his third run this prep and having won in that state previously should be finishing in the money.

BJORN IRONSIDE (3) ran a decent race on debut to finish third of 11 last start and was then put out for a spell. Gavin Lerena is booked to ride and fresh-up from a good draw has winning claims. TWENTY ONE MAY (2) showed good improvement when fourth of 10 in his last start over this distance at Scottsville. He lost a length leaving the start, but rallied late. He is a progressive type and from his good draw of two, he should pose a threat. LITTLEBLACKGEM (4) produced a promising debut effort over this distance at Scottsville last start to finish second of 12. She would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, she should give the males a decent run for their money. TOP GUN (1) is on debut. By Danon Platina and is out of the Paul Lafferty stable. A good gate is sure to assist and he is a top-three chance.

SWEET JULIA (9) has finished second in her last two starts, the latest of which was over this course and distance. She showed good pace last time, fought hard but found one too good on the day. With luck in the running, she can shed her maiden tag. ELUSIVE BELLE (10) has consistent form lines to her credit including a last start third of seven. It must be noted that the horse that finished second in her last outing has come out and won since. She drops to 1000m and rates well as a leading chance. AN AIR OF PRIDE (3) resumed from a spell last start and finished second of nine over 1400m. She would have come on from her last run and should strip much fitter. Has solid each-way claims. ICY ELEANOR (1) is appearing for the first time. By What A Winter and hails from the P B Muscutt stable. Jumping from the inside gate can place.

HER ROYALTY (1) showed good improvement in her last start over 1200m on this course. She raced from a handy position and stayed on well at the finish to run second of nine at long odds. She is a progressive type and should like the extra distance on offer. From pole position, she can go one better. SWEETER THAN HONEY (8) has good recent form lines to her credit including a last start third of eight over today's distance. It must be noted that the horse that finished second in her last outing has come out and won since. She is in a good space and is one of the leading contenders. LONG STREET (3) was running on well when finishing fourth of 10 over 1400m on this course last time. Jumping from her inside draw can place once again. FLYING REIGN STORM (5) has fair consistent form lines to her name, including a last start third of nine over 1400m. The manner in which she finishes off her races suggests that she will like the extra distance today.

MAGMA MAGIC (4) is better than his last start run would suggest. The manner in which he finishes off his races suggests that he will like the rise to 1800m. It is encouraging that Sean Veale is booked to ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him when it matters most. In this line-up he can shed his maiden tag. HOODWINKED (3) has produced two good runs to date. He stayed on well when fourth over 1600m last time. He is a progressive type and he should go close to winning. BASIE RAAKVAT (7) has finished second in his last two starts on this course. He drops to 1800m and will be doing his best work at the finish. Rates well as a main danger. RAINBOW OF ROSES (5) is a eight-start maiden who could only manage to finish seventh at her latest appearance over 2300m at this track. Suited in this line up and has place claims.
