NUM TIME COMMENT
1 11:52 Grand Syndicates Handicap 2004m
Pace genuine with Holmes and Punchin pressing hard closely followed by Shearman Dyer and Santelmo Fuego. ZAKOUMA (6) is yet to strike through but has turned in some solid efforts. Cherry-ripe now as he drops back in trip and only has to hold his form to take care of this line-up. ARTZINO (2) has progressed nicely in his last two, most recently closing off strongly into a midfield finish on the Caulfield Heath track. Gun hoop in Shinn sticking is a big push for his chances and he gets his chance to break a long run of outs. HOLMES (7) is as consistent as they come. Rises slightly in grade but gets the services of Damien Lane piloting from the favourable draw. Expecting him to be in this for a very long way. PUNCHIN (9) next best.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Zakouma gets the nod.
2 12:27 Sportsbet Bet With Mates Handicap 1050m
Strong early tempo with Sweet Baby Boom and Miss Sunshine leading the way. MISS SUNSHINE (11) got off the mark in great style at Ballarat to kick off the campaign. Couldn't quite follow it up last time as public elect but should be hitting her straps third-up. Lane piloting the extra push. FOXY FEMME (3) progressed nicely second up when driving hard to score by a head on the Parks track. Open to further improvement third-up and is drawn to get all the favours. Bold showing is anticipated. SWEET BABY BOOM (1) returns and makes her stable debut for the Clarken & O'Shea partnership. Showed good ability back in NSW and strips fitter for a soft Balaklava trial. Carries the top weight but is aided with the 2kg claimer engaged. Top hope on best form. OUR SHINING STAR (5) returns for the sharp R & C Jolly stable and has leading hoop in Toeroek reuniting, who scored on the mare here in her second last run of the prep last time in. Right in the mix. RUNAWAY BELLE (9) is ticking along nicely this time in and there's no reason she can't feature again.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Miss Sunshine.
3 01:02 Hahn Handicap 1050m
Expecting a strong gallop with Sunzou and Babayka taking up the running over The Magistrate. SUNZOU (2) progressed nicely second-up when leading pillar-to-post on the Parks track a fortnight ago. Has enough pace to offset the tricky draw and should prove tough to reel in third-up. CLASSY KENNY (3) returns and usually goes well fresh. Steps back out over a preferred trip and gets the services of gun hoop Blake Shinn. Win won't shock. STORYTELLER (6) was below his best second-up when sent out public elect. 28 days between runs should have him fresh and a much better run is anticipated. THE MAGISTRATE (1) loomed up to take it out fresh but just lacked a fitness edge. Better for the hit-out but will need some luck from the draw.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Classy Kenny each-way.
4 01:37 Sportsbet Fast Form Adelaide In Autumn Series Final (Qualified Horses) 1504m
Solid tempo with several going forward headed by East Indiaman. JAZZ AFFAIR (8) has come on nicely this campaign, scoring dominantly in her last two. Appears to have more to offer and should appreciate the extra journey. Can bring up the hat-trick. EASY CAMPESE (2) stuck on gamely into second behind Jazz Affair last start. Drawn kinder this time and gets a positive jockey switch in Lane. Can feature in the finish. MARACOURT (7) is yet to strike through this time in but hasn't missed the frame. Tricky draw to contest but is expected to be chasing hard at the business end. KOMACHI (4) lifted strongly to get the verdict last time at Gawler. Tougher this time but is right in the mix. Fellow last start winner JUST LIKE LISA (3) can also be considered.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Jazz Affair to win again.
5 02:12 Winning Edge Presentations Provincial Pathways Final (Qualified Horses) 1800m
Fortis In Armis has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. SIR KINGSFORD (1) made a mess of his rivals last on the Parks track over the 1500m. This rise in trip shouldn't bother and Crowther sticking, looking for six wins aboard. Leading player. BABY ALEX (10) comes off a barnstorming win at Murray Bridge. Drawn to go back again but is treated to the services of Jamie Kah. Expect to see her climbing over their backs late. NULLIFY (9) lengthened nicely to get the verdict last start. Tougher this time but looks to have a bit more to offer. Last start winner ENCIPHERING (11) next best.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Sir Kingsford gets the nod.
6 02:47 Adelaide Galvanising Industries Adelaide Guineas 1600m
Solid tempo with several going forward headed by Sassy Boom. SPIRIT OF CAMELOT (10) ran out of time last time out when finishing strongly into third in the LR H C Nitschke Stakes. Will relish the extra trip and gets a key jockey booking in Jamie Kah from a favourable draw. Leading player. POIFECT (7) went forward and dug deep to score at Flemington last time out. Fitter again and has enough pace to offset the outside alley. Can give another bold sight. SASSY BOOM (6) has threatened in her last two but was a G2 winner three back at Caulfield. Can bounce back sharply with Shinn piloting. STYLISH (8) was a handy Pakenham maiden winner two back and then followed it up with a close finish at Mornington. Open to further improvement and is drawn favourably for Lane. In the mix. ANGELIC APPEAL (11) next.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Spirit Of Camelot to win.
7 03:25 Sportsbet Queen Elizabeth II Cup (Formerly Port Adelaide Cup) 2500m
A genuine pace is on the cards with First Immortal, Crimson Vine and Sharma Princess to roll along early. THE MAP (2) is the state's best stayer. Was denied by the barest of margins last start in the G2 Adelaide Cup back in March. Drops back 700m with the 54 days between runs, keeping the legs ticking over with two trials. Kah gets the best out this mare. Sure to be very competitive. FIRST IMMORTAL (1) carries the fitness edge over his two main rivals and should be nearing his peak now fourth run in. Shinn reunites and is 3/5 when partnering. Every chance. LAKE'S FOLLY (5) is best of the outsiders after a good run in BM80 grade last time out and he drops down to the minimum weight today. Can run a big race along with DISAGREEABLE MISS (4) who was placed over this course and distance last time out.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing The Map to win.
8 04:05 Thomas Farms South Australian Derby 2500m
Plenty of early pace from Air Assault, Outovstock and Antrim Coast vying for the lead, with a few others keeping them honest. WARMONGER (7) was rapidly climbing over their backs late last week in the Chairman's Stakes but ultimately ran out of time. Should relish the rise in trip and will prove very tough to hold out if Lane can have him close enough when turning for home. AHURIRI (16) strode away for an emphatic victory last start in the St Ledger (2800m) at Flemington. Progressive type from a very sharp stable that can go on with it. COCO SUN (15) was denied last week in the G1 Australasian Oaks. Tackles the boys this time and slight query on the trip but warrants plenty of thought. ANTRIM COAST (1) was brilliant in his Australian debut when taking out the G2 Alister Clark and then fell a head-shy last start at Caulfield. The distance is no concern and he's drawn well. Right in this. BOLD SOUL (4) took his time but drove hard to take out the Chairman's Stakes last week. Drawn to get a similar run and warrants serious consideration. GLAD YOU THINK SO (6) next best.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Warmonger to win. Saving on Ahuriri.
9 04:40 David 'DT' Thomas Memorial SA Sprint Series Final (Qualified Horses) 1200m
Expecting a genuine tempo with a big field engaged. Costless, All Beans and Starlite Valley all have early speed. LOSESOMEWINMORE (11) made light work of his rivals when resuming on the Parks track last month. Improvement to come second up and the rise in trip will suit him perfectly. Can win again. PRAIRIE FLOWER (2) arrived just in time to score a breathtaking win here three weeks ago. Carries great form and is sure to be getting involved again at the business end. SIXTEEN REASONS (9) drove hard to just miss on the Parks track a fortnight ago. Drawn kinder this time and is a big chance on best figures. DELIGHTFUL SHECKY (6) is yet to take a step wrong this campaign as he shoots to bring up the hat-trick. Tougher this time but is going too good to ignore.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Prairie Flower at each-way odds.
