NUM TIME COMMENT
1 12:10 BLK KARTEL VODKA CG&E MAIDEN PLATE 1200m
Swissta to take charge ahead of Snatchreilly at a solid tempo. REGGAE FIRE (4) was close-up in a recent trial and provincial grade suits first up. On best form can play a major role. PIRATE (3) was on the improve prior to a spell and resumes off two trials. Set for a successful second campaign. SNATCHREILLY (5) has fought hard in two short course runs since resuming. Sweetly drawn with genuine claims at a longer trip. PIERANT (8) returns for a second campaign back in class. Senior rider and two trials make him a keep-safe option.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Reggae Fire win.
2 12:50 BOTTLEMART F&M MAIDEN PLATE 1200m
Tricky one to map with a large contingent of first starters but over this trip there is certain to be plenty of early pressure. CANDY WOMEN (2) ran home well last start around a tighter circuit. With the added trip and a bigger track must take seriously. MIZELLA (6) was soft in betting on debut and just battled. Prior trial form was handy so well worth another chance. AIN'T SHE SWELL (1) resumes from a long break but was provincial placed last campaign. Recent trial suggested a solid return. POLYMNIA (7) has shown enough in three trials to stay under notice. Finds right race on debut.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Candy Women win.
3 01:25 IMPACT BUILDING SUPER MAIDEN HANDICAP 1500m
I Am Breathing to take charge ahead of Palikari at a strong tempo. NAAHRO (4) has been consistent to date and should run this trip out strongly. Drawn to get every chance third up. GOOD ONCE (1) is overdue a maiden win but has been close to a win of late. Top three claims. ROCKBARTON ICON (8) looks ready to peak now third-up into the campaign and has strong winning claims.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Naahro win.
4 02:00 AUSURE HOSPITALITY MAIDEN PLATE 1870m
Genuine tempo with Justice Served leading the way. JUSTICE SERVED (4) has led and battled on well in both runs to date. Jumps right up in trip and blinkers come off. Ready to show best. SEASONS OF MIST (6) has been consistent to date and both runs this time in on wet tracks have been above par. Can win. WAVERLEY (7) drops sharply in grade out of a listed race first up but still needs to improve. Up in trip can atone.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Justice Served win.
5 02:35 RED FUNNEL FOOD DISTRIBUTORS MIDWAY BENCHMARK 64 HANDICAP 1870m
Genuine pace headed by Dreamdeel from his wide draw. PURE HYDROGEN (3) delivered an eye-catching effort in the latest offering and is a two-time winner at a mile. Drawn to give a great sight. OVERICE (11) can’t be any closer to a win of late and is a rock-hard fit horse. Comes into calculations. DREAMDEEL (2) finds his right trip as he peaks and finds some genuine weight relief after the claim. Must consider here. OAKFIELD REDGUM (1) has it all to do from a wide draw but does handle any conditions. Can run a cheeky on-pace race.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Overice each-way.
6 03:10 TOOHEYS NEW CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1300m
With no obvious leader on paper, Turbulent may be the one to take up the running. WORX (2) has been racing well with big weights this time in and finds the ideal draw. Pay to follow now. TURBULENT (4) clocked good late sectionals first up and should appreciate a longer trip. In similar company has winning claims. RAPT (6) fought on well first up off a lengthy break and finds another handy draw. Form lines look solid for this.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Worx win.
7 03:45 PITCHER PARTNERS NEWCASTLE HUNTER PROVINCIAL BENCHMARK 68 HANDICAP 1200m
Solid pace from Two Up pushing forward. BULLY FOR YOU (3) has copped plenty of recent racing but gets conditions that suit again. Just missed out on the hat-trick last start at Kembla when beaten 1.7L and looks well suited in this event. Can get back to winning ways. NEVER SORRY (7) failed in a city race last start but form prior to that was better than handy. Drawn wide but can make a strong case back at provincial level. PEAK (2) may not have handled the heavy conditions last start, but he was good on a soft track at Rosehill two back. Include.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Bully For You goes on top.
8 04:25 AUSTRALIAN LIQUOR MARKETERS BENCHMARK 64 HANDICAP 1500m
Genuine tempo from Centenario leading Semper Fortis. PARADE GROUND (6) steps up in grade off a strong maiden win and gets a soft draw. No weight relief the only knock. CENTENARIO (2) resumes for a new stable after promising early form in NZ. Expected to roll forward and give a strong showing after two recent trials. MOVADER (4) gets conditions to suit again but has been a beaten favourite at her past two starts. Drawn wide but hard to go past.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Quinella 6 with 2,4.
