NUM TIME COMMENT
1 11:44 AZURE PAINTING HANDICAP 1000m
Moderate tempo with Lexington City leading the way. LEXINGTON CITY (5) couldn't hold off a progressive type in easier company last start when collared late after leading throughout. Back to this trip now and he's knocking on the door of another victory. Draws well and should be making his presence felt. THOMAS MAGNUM (4) was 2.4L off Lexington City last start but did beat him two back over this course and distance. Can sit off them and run over the top to score. PREMIUM CHOICE (1) can bounce back after finishing 2.9L off Thomas Magnum at his latest outing.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Lexington City in the opener.
2 12:19 PRESTIGE PROPERTY MAINTENANCE HANDICAP 1800m
Plenty of pace evident with Profit Pocket and Bandalera Beau leading the way from Hafey and Mystery Moment. PLAY WITH DESIRE (1) just missed when running on from midfield over the mile here last time out. Draws ideally again for Chris Parnham and getting out in trip further will suit him better. Looks set to enjoy the run of the race and with further improvement expected now, he can get back to winning ways. PROFIT POCKET (3) continued her unbeaten streak with an impressive win over the mile at Pinjarra 13 days ago. This is her toughest test to date, but she's improving rapidly and still has plenty of upside. Wouldn't surprise to see her extend her unbeaten streak. MYSTERY MOMENT (7) stuck on well first-up at Pinjarra and is likely to appreciate the step out in distance. Can be handy from the inside alley for CJP hopping in the saddle. Been a long time between wins but his recent effort suggests he's not far away. PAIGEY'S TURN (2) is better than she showed last time out and can bounce back. HAFEY (5) won impressively at Narrogin and has claim although this is tougher.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Play With Desire.
3 12:54 OBAN GROUP HANDICAP 1600m
Genuine tempo with the speedy Dictator and Sisu Warrior matching motors. OLY'S CHOICE (5) got back but circled the field to win comfortably here last time out and now steps out to the mile for the first time. Pike sticking is a positive sign and he may be able to sit a little closer this time around. Looks ready to go to another level this time out. Pike hops off DESENNEA (3) after a plain effort over this course and distance last week. Blinkers go on for the first time now and Poy hops back in the saddle having won 4/8 when steering. Heavily backed here last week and should be right in the finish again. SISU WARRIOR (1) took on Stakes grade last start and was outclassed after a good effort in this grade prior. Campbell takes 2kg off now and he's likely to find the front once again. Will take plenty of catching. KNOT SECRET (6) ran well last start and may be better again stepping back out to the mile. Not to be discounted. YARRALEA (8) is looking for the hat-trick and warrants plenty of respect.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Oly's Choice gets the nod.
4 01:29 TABTOUCH - WESTSPEED PLATINUM HANDICAP 1400m
Moderate tempo with El Patron leading the way and a few others keeping in touch. MACK MACK (1) looks set for this event after a narrow 0.3L defeat at the mile here last time out. He's won 2/3 third-up and the booking of Carbery who has won on the galloper before is a positive sign. Looks set to peak now third-up and that would see him getting the job done. EL PATRON (3) won comfortably when sitting up on the speed at this course and distance 9 days ago. This is a tougher race, but he draws to be prominent in the run and Campbell's claim means he'll carry less weight. Likely to be in the finish once again. BELGRANO BELLE (2) stuck on well first-up at Albany and boasts a strong second-up record. Drops back in trip which may be a slight concern, but if the pace is on she's sure to be strong at the finish. FORTUNE'S LUCK (6) hasn't been far away her past couple and must be respected after going around as favourite last start.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Mack Mack goes on top.
5 02:09 PEARCE RACING LADIES SYNDICATES HANDICAP 1200m
Diego Dynamite, Miss Flirtacious and Twain's Angel to match motors but there will be plenty of pressure from other quarters. Hot race with plenty of progressive types. TWAIN'S ANGEL (3) sat just off the leader and made a mess of them when heavily backed first-up, remaining unbeaten by 2.5L. Returned where she left off last campaign and looks a filly destined for better races in the future. Can improve again second-up and put these to the sword. THE BOSS LADY (1) was strong to the line last start when getting the job done narrowly. That form may get a push in R1 with Lexington City. Campbell takes 2kgs off this time and the rise in trip is no issue. Wouldn't surprise to see her bring up the hat-trick. BRAVE SPIRIT (5) rattled home from a long way back last start and draws a better gate this time. Include. MISS FLIRTACIOUS (7) was a good winner last start and can be in the finish again.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Twain's Angel can remain undefeated.
6 02:50 PETERS INVESTMENTS HANDICAP 1000m
Protected Action and Treasured Queen to take up the running at a decent tempo. CAPRE OMNIA (1) just missed over this course and distance last time out, beaten just 0.7L. Been awfully close her past couple and maps for the run of the race from the gate. Still has some upside and can get the job done today. TREASURED QUEEN (9) made it back-to-back wins when winning at Kalgoorlie last start. That was 1200m though and she drops back in trip this time. Pike does take the ride which creates intrigue, and the inside barrier helps. Can bring up the hat-trick. CRIPPALENKO (5) was no match for the winner over this course and distance last week but wasn't far off his best. Rates well in this field and can be running over the top late. PLATO OR PLOMO (3) got the job done first-up and the second horse has since won. Won't be far away.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Capre Omnia goes on top.
7 03:20 QUAYCLEAN - WA SIRES PRODUCE STAKES 1400m
Pace genuine with Bustling and Battle Commander pressing hard closely followed by Blue Rocket and Big Shots. Time for the Sirs Produce now where Karrakatta Plate winner BUSTLING (1) is all the rage. Backed off the map and bolted in by 4.2L with the time comparable to The Quokka on the same card. Has the pace to cross and lead from the draw and he should prove too good again. BLUE ROCKET (8) gets Pike in the saddle after a gutsy performance in the Karrakatta behind Bustling to finish third. Drawn to sit just off the hot pot and should put up a good fight if he doesn't see out the trip. GOLDEN KATHLEEN (9) looks to have plenty in her favour today, drawing an inside barrier and getting the winkers on first time. Can sit much closer than she has been and her runs have suggested this trip won't be an issue. Started second pick in the Karrakatta and should be in the finish again. BIG SHOTS (2) was off 63 days heading into the Karrakatta and should be better for that run.  SUGGESTED PLAY: It's all about Bustling in the Sires Produce.
8 04:00 AMELIA PARK HANDICAP 2200m
Solid tempo set by Lord Gannicus and Tallangatta who are both capable of leading. FLOWER IN THE WIND (1) brought up the hat-trick with an impressive 1.3L victory over 2400m last start. The drop back in trip shouldn't be an issue and she maps for a lovely run under Steve Parnham. Did it easy last start and can keep the winning streak alive. BEATS OF WAR (4) disappointed over 1800m last time out and should appreciate getting back out in trip. Only 0.7L away in the Geraldton Cup two back and he should get every chance for CJP. Best form is good enough to be winning this. LORD GANNICUS (3) steps into uncharted territory. He was a good winner of the Narrogin Cup two back and stuck on well over the mile last time out. Out to 2200m is the query, but he has the talent to be in this for a long way. FAT ROY SLIM (5) sprinted quickly to get the job done at Pinjarra last time out and has claims. LET'SDEAL (2) is better than he showed last start and is not to be discounted.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Flower In The Wind can bring up her fourth win in a row.
9 04:40 MACMAHON HANDICAP 1200m
Expecting Sonoftheboss to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint course. GENEROSITY (5) was never a hope after getting a mile back first-up a fortnight ago but she hit the line full of running. Out in trip should suit and she should be better for the run under her belt. Can be a touch closer in the run this time and should get back onto the winner's list. ROPE THEM IN (4) ran on boldly behind Twain's Angel first-up and we'll get a nice guide on that form earlier in the card. Can be a little close from the draw this time around and he drops in weight. Can make his presence felt. ANTIQUE MISS (8) won three in a row at the end of her last preparation but was subsequently disqualified for high Arsenic levels. The figures she put up winning those races were impressive though and she drops in weight today. Can return with a bang. TALK IT UP (6) is set to peak third-up with Pike in the saddle. Can play a major role with improvement expected. SNOW PRINCE (1) won't be far away after a good effort last time out.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Generosity can get back to winning ways.
