NUM TIME COMMENT
1 12:47 THE PASSCHENDAELE PLATE 1100m
Expecting Call Me Gorgeous to take control early. CALL ME GORGEOUS (2) resumes after making an encouraging debut when stalked the speed for a gritty second over 1000m at this track on January 17. Since fitted with two recent trials and the booking of Nash Rawiller is a bonus. RUBIKINS (11) beaten 3 lengths into fourth when resuming last start over 1100m at Hawkesbury. Strips fitter and expected to feature. GREYT THINKER (3) So You Think gelding resuming. Tired badly on debut when tenth over 1100m here behind Libertad on March 2023. Since fitted with two solid trial wins and looks ready to go. MAILATA (5) unwanted in betting on debut when a plodding eighth over 1100m here on March 13. Fitter now and can run into the minor money.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Call Me Gorgeous to win.
2 01:20 THE HOME FRONT HANDICAP 1400m
Redbreast should lead but there are a few other speedy types who can keep her honest. AGITA (2) third-up today and has won third-up in the past. Will appreciate the sharp drop in grade after failing to handle the heavy (9) conditions when 11th over 1600m in the G3 Carbine Club Stakes at Randwick on April 6. Drawn to get the right run and gets conditions to suit today. UNTIL VALHALLA (7) lightly raced Snitzel filly who comes out of a strong race after resuming with a close-up fourth to Kadinsky Abstract over 1200m at Warwick Farm on April 1. Gets map favours again and sure to be strong through the line. BELLENTH (8) promising gelding who did well to finish third on debut, then backed that up with a nice win last time over 1350m at Wyong. Has plenty of ability and is one of the chances. MISSILE SEEKER (4) returns from a 29 day let-up. Drifted back early before finishing a close sixth here over 1400m on March 27. Likely to get back from the draw and charge late.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 2,7,8,4.
3 01:55 ARMISTICE HANDICAP 2400m
Genuine tempo with the speedy Rattle And Hum leading the way. AWESOME WONDER (5) tough mare who looks close to her top now third-up. Has a good record over this trip and was strong through the line when a close-up second over 2100m at Gosford on April 10. Maps well and is sure to be powering late. Go close. FUNAMBULIST (3) handy gelding back in his right grade after being outclassed when eighth over 2600m in the G2 Chairman's Quality at Randwick on April 6. Strips much fitter now and has the right figures to take this out. CASUAL CONNECTION (1) two of his four wins have come at this trip and looks set to peak today after sitting on the speed when a tenacious on-pace second over 1900m at Canterbury on April 17. On the quick back-up and expected to go close. OUR MARYANNE (4) underrated mare who relished the extra ground when a dominant winner over 2100m at Gosford on April 10. This is much stronger but she has the ability to take a hand in the finish.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 5,3,1,4.
4 02:30 BATTLE OF AMIENS HANDICAP 1400m
With little in the way of early speed Nails Murphy may well find the front. NAILS MURPHY (1) former import who showed a ton of potential at first Australian prep last time in. Has a solid first-up record and since fitted with two searching trials. Will go forward and take catching in this easier company. KOKORO (3) tough gelding who returns from a 57-day let-up. Taken to the front at the latest when a tiring 11th over 1400m at Rosehill on February 28. Expecting more today with a quieter ride and the recent 1045m trial was full of merit. Sure to be strong late. BUNKER HUT (2) two runs back have been okay in stronger company and best figures have him right in this. Made up a little ground late when sixth over 1400m at Newcastle in the Provincial Wildcard behind Terra Mater on April 3. Looks one of the major players. THE GREAT HOUDINI (4) nice return on the tight Wyong track when a fast finishing fourth over 1350m on March 30. Goes just as well second-up and the tongue-tie goes on here.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 1,3,2,4.
5 03:05 KOKODA TRAIL HANDICAP 1550m
Moderate pace from Princess Rayaa who should be able to get across from the wide gate. DEFINING (2) a consistent mare who looks to have come back much stronger this prep. Won well on resumption before having no luck when a close-up third over 1400m at Warwick Farm on April 1. Rawiller keeps the ride from the good draw and no excuses here. PRINCESS RAYAA (7) progressive mare from the Maher yard who resumed with a promising second over 1400m at Warwick Farm on April 1. Goes well at this track and trip and is desperate for this distance and further now. CABACA (4) has been up for some time now and total forgive from the wide draw when a plugging seventh over 1600m at Caulfield on April 6. This is much easier and should get the right run today. Has each-way prospects. MOUNTAIN GUEST (3) Group 3 placegetter. Had no luck at Canterbury when sixth over 1550m in stronger company on April 17. Go close.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 2,7,4,3.
6 03:40 THE AUSTRALIAN IMPERIAL FORCE HANDICAP 1000m
Martial Music and In A Step to take up the running at a decent tempo. MARTIAL MUSIC (5) speedy gelding with a dynamite fresh record. Well-supported first-up when a slick winner over the 1000m in Midway company at Randwick on February 17. Up in weight and trip when fading in the straight to finish seventh over 1100m at Randwick Midway on March 2. Since fitted with a recent trial over 740m at Randwick. Will take catching from the gate. HEURISTIC (1) returns from a spell of 11 months and gelded over the break. Relished the heavy (8) going when winning the G3 David Coles over 1200m at Morphettville on May 20. Since fitted with two trials and has the ability to finish over the top of these. JEDIBEEL (2) resumes after six month break. Has a handy fresh record and back in grade for this. Since fitted with two trials and looks ready to go. STORM THE RAMPARTS (4) first-up today after going out on a winning note last time in. Not asked to do much in two trials and can play a leading role here.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 5,1,2,4.
7 04:15 ANZAC DAY CUP 1800m
Zouatica, Professor Pickles and Perfect Play will not hold back as they vie for the early lead. CITY OF LIGHTS (1) classy mare destined for better things. Rattled late from well back when a close-up ninth in the G3 Aspiration Quality at Randwick two back. Demolished her rivals over this track and trip at latest four weeks ago. Since fitted with a recent 1207m trial and look for her swooping late. ZOUATICA (2) tough on-pace gelding who had too much up the sleeve when led throughout to score over 1600m at Gosford two weeks ago. This is stronger but looks well in with Jake Barrett's 3kg claim. FAY'S ANGELS (8) handy Taree-trained mare who was strong through the line when third over 2100m at Gosford on April 10. Looks well placed again on the limit weight.  SUGGESTED PLAY: City Of Lights to win.
8 04:50 BEERSHEBA HANDICAP 1550m
Strong early tempo with Draco's Fire leading the way. MAGNATEAR (2) underrated gelding who races best with his runs spaced. Will appreciate this easier contest and extra trip after fading to finish fourth over 1400m at Newcastle in the Provincial CQ on March 2. Finished second in Midway grade two back over the mile and expected to play a leading role today. ALLAPERCANTO (11) talented filly fitter after two runs back. Sent north for this after jumping in grade when 12th behind War Machine over 1400m in the LR Bendigo Guineas on April 13. Placed this track and trip last time in and expecting more today. WEMBANYAMA (4) promising Dundeel gelding who returned for second prep with a sound maiden win, before rattling late over the tight Wyong track when third over 1350m on April 11. Looking for this trip and J Mac takes the ride. DRACO'S FIRE (8) scored two starts back at Goulburn before finishing 2 lengths from the winner in second last time over 1600m at Wyong. Hard to leave out on current form.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 2,11,4,8.
