NUM TIME COMMENT
1 12:30 LEST WE FORGET 3YO MAIDEN PLATE 1200m
Lots of speed predominantly from Khaznah and Je Reve. STAR ACT (10) has been well backed at both runs this prep but found one better on each occasion, most recently when comfortably beaten over 1300m at Newcastle. Back in trip is a plus, as is the senior rider going on. Worth another chance. KHAZNAH (7) made it three minor placings from as many career runs when he led for home but was reined in by the winner soon after over 1100m at Wyong. Freshened up and sure to give a ton of cheek around this tight circuit. SWEET PROPOSAL (11) returns from a 25-week break. Only raced twice last prep, the best effort the second of those runs over 1280m at Muswellbrook. Two recent trials should have her ready to perform. JE REVE (2) recorded his fourth minor placing from just appearances when he led but was cut down late over this trip at Newcastle 12 days ago. Sure to be prominent for a long way. VERBIL (4) is a Fastnet Rock three-year-old on debut for Annabel Neasham. Won a Randwick trial in good style on 15 April. Watch the betting.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Star Act maps nicely and is due to win.
2 01:05 FURNACE & THE FUNDAMENTALS LIVE 11 MAY SUPER MAIDEN PLATE 1000m
Always plenty of early pressure in sprint races such as this with a large number of first starters. BUCARELI BAY (11) is back from a five-month break. Only raced once last prep, showing plenty of pace but knocking up at the end of 1200m at Scone. Trialling well and 1000m around Gosford looks the ideal scenario. POCKET EIGHTS (2) was in the market on debut last start over this distance at Wyong but couldn't quicken after racing wide without cover and dropped out. Draws a better gate today and can improve sharply. Ciaron Maher's MISS TRUSTFUL (10) makes her debut on the back of a solid recent Warwick Farm trial. Nicely drawn and any market confidence should be respected. VINROSA (7) is facing the starter for the first time. By I Am Invincible from a Teofilo mare. Trial form is plain but expect Joe Pride has kept something for race day. OMNIC (8) is trialling well and looks ready to run well on debut.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Fancy Bucareli Bay.
3 01:40 POWER PRODUCTIONS CONTENT CREATIONS MAIDEN PLATE 1100m
Expecting Duke Of Bronte to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sharp trip. DUKE OF BRONTE (4) started favourite and led for home but found the winner too strong when resuming over 900m at Newcastle last start. Gets out to this trip for the first time but with the run under the belt on a turning track he might be tough to reel in. BATTLE OF VIENNA (3) last appeared when third over 1200m at Newcastle in October. Gelded since then and trialled well recently at Randwick so he might be a big improver this prep. EXTREMELY FRILLY (7) registered her fourth minor placing from as many runs this prep when a closing third over 1250m at Newcastle last time out. Gets the fifth different rider of the campaign today. Should be charging home. RATHORAN (5) didn't race up to expectations on debut over 1005m at Coffs Harbour in November, his only trip to the races. Twice a trial winner since that day so he might have more to offer this prep.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Duke Of Bronte on top but wary of Battle Of Vienna.
4 02:15 BLUE HAVEN POOLS CLASS 1 & MAIDEN PLATE 2100m
Hiawatha is likely to take charge and set a decent tempo. SHE'S GOT VEUVE (8) stepped out beyond the mile for the first time last start and acquitted herself well, racing handy and finding plenty to hold onto second at Kembla. Very fit filly who will take a lot from that run and she is sure to be there at the business end. HALKIS (7) worked home stoutly to grab second last time out over the mile at Canberra. Steps up to this distance for the first time but her racing pattern suggests it won't be a concern. ICEBREAKER (4) made a move before the turn then went right on with the job in a maiden over today's journey at Wyong a fortnight ago. That was just the second run of the prep so there should be plenty of scope for improvement. HIGHBORN HARRY (3) is racing well but finding it hard to win. Placed 3/3 here so must be included. SUBSCRIBE ME (2) returned to form last start over 2200m at Scone. Cannot be ruled out.  SUGGESTED PLAY: This looks ideal for She's Got Veuve.
5 02:50 PURE DESIGN CONSTRUCTION PROVINCIAL CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1000m
Solid early pace with Rockin' Millie showing out. PARTY DOLL (3) has raced well in the two runs back from a long spell. Travelled handy but couldn't quicken enough in the heavy ground at Kembla last start over today's distance. Looks the one to beat with the 2kg claim. ROCKIN' MILLIE (4) stalked the leader but was just found wanting at the end of 1100m at Hawkesbury recently. At her best here at this distance so at the third run back she makes plenty of appeal. JAMAKIN MONEY (5) led all the way to win a Wyong maiden over five furlongs last time out. Should capitalise on the inside gate and make her presence felt again. VOIGNER (1) bolted in here at this journey last time. Not sure if the heavy going flattered him but the effort was too impressive to ignore.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Plenty of these in good form which makes it tough. Party Doll just gets the nod.
6 03:25 HAWKESBURY BREWING CO. MIDWAY 4YO&UP MAIDEN HANDICAP 1200m
Uncle Alf to go to the lead at a genuine tempo. DRESSED IN GRAY (7) gets back in her races but has found the line with purpose to fill a minor placing at both runs this prep. Steps up in trip today which will suit and drops 1.5kgs under today's scale. Ready to win. MEERUT (11) was up there on straightening but capitulated in the run home over 1250m at Newcastle recently. Fitter for two runs back and he likes Gosford. TARTANA (5) resumes. Ran some nice races over a bit more ground last prep. Capable of a top-three finish while fresh.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Dressed In Gray.
7 04:00 TASTE THE COAST SUN 5 MAY BENCHMARK 64 HANDICAP 1600m
Just an even tempo anticipated. JOINT MISSION (4) showed tremendous pace last start but found one better at the end of 1500m at Kembla. Fitter for two runs back from a spell and she drops 3kgs after the claim. Sure to give a great sight. DUNEDIN (2) did a fair job at Wyong a fortnight ago when attempting this trip for the first time. Lightly raced and can improve. THREE WISE MEN (3) is fitter for two runs back from a spell and can figure in the finish.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Joint Mission to win.
8 04:35 HOOVES TRACKSIDE PARTY SAT 11 MAY BENCHMARK 64 HANDICAP 1200m
Ramones has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. QUEEN BESS (9) got a long way back last start over 1100m at Wyong and found it hard to make up ground. Has raced here twice at 1200m for two wins, the latest three runs back in this grade with just 1kg less. Profiles beautifully. LINGUEE (17) was unwanted in betting but put up a good effort to finish fourth when resuming last time out over this course and distance. Has a better second-up record so she looms as a serious contender. ONE DESTINY (3) struggled last start in better company over this trip at Wyong. Freshened up and he likes Gosford so a better run will not surprise. SLINKY (12) stepped up to Bm64 grade last time and was only beaten two lengths here at this trip after racing on the pace. Very fit and capable of a top-three finish. UNWRITTEN (8) caught the eye at the end of 1100m at Hawkesbury last start. Will be charging home.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Queen Bess to win the last.
