Moderate pace with Dundonald rolling to the lead and setting the tempo. QUITE THE LASS (2) has been rock-solid for the Goodwin camp and continues to be expertly placed. Only needs to hold his form to be right there at the pointy end again. GATES (3) will appreciate the drop in grade and gets a key booking in Egan. Yet to be tested at this trip but his splits suggest it won't bother. CYCLONE HARMONY (4) has been strong through the line in his last two after leaving himself with a lot to do. Will likely drift back again from the draw but can cause a fright late if the pace is genuine. DUNDONALD (8) is knocking on the door and should be giving a bold sight again from the inside pillar. Can steal it if left alone for long enough. SUGGESTED PLAY: Quite The Lass can bring up the hat-trick.
