GOING: S(7)

NEWGATE COUNTRY BOOSTED CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1200m

Track: HEAVY 8   Clouds (Max: 17)   Rail: +7m 1000m to the 400m, +5m the remainder.

Genuine tempo from Oakfield Missouri leading Flying Molly. OAKFIELD MISSOURI (1) showed good gate speed to travel in the leading pair then went right on with the job on debut last start over 1000m at this track. Strong through the line that day so an extra 200m holds no fears. Great chance to make it two from two. STARVERNA (5) gets back in her races but has finished with great purpose to record a win and two seconds from three runs to date. Picked up impressively in heavy going at Dubbo last time but found one a little better over the 1100m course. Sure to be prominent once more. TWICE AZ COOL (4) won his maiden two back at Warren then put in a bad one at Muswellbrook last start. Draws a better gate and the senior rider takes over so worth another chance. EPHEMERAL (7) scored impressively on a heavy deck at Tamworth when fresh from a year off the scene recently. Lightly raced filly with plenty more to offer. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen to be with Oakfield Missouri.
