Moana has enough early speed to find the lead at a decent clip. MOANA (1) made it back-to-back wins when successful last start over 1600m at Turffontein Standside, getting home by 5.5 lengths. Winning rider Calvin Habib retains the mount. Loved the mile last time and can make it three straight wins. WINTER VOICE (2) scored her maiden win here last time out over today's trip, getting the decision by 4.5 lengths. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Looks well placed and she is one of the main chances. SAVVY TRIUMPH (7) is a well bred two-year-old filly on debut. By Legislate from Russet Savannah who has produced plenty of winners. Has fared well at the barrier draw and any market lead would add to the confidence. UP AND UP (8) has raced twice. Was second on debut then clocked-in 8 lengths from the winner in sixth last time out over 1160m at Turffontein Standside. Goes back from a wide draw but will wind up late. Well placed and can feature in the finish.
