Good pace expected with Exotic Girl, Nansei Scorpion and Luckenbooth paving the way. NANSEI SCORPION (1) bounced straight to the front from the rails draw last start and led for home before finishing third over 1600m at this track. Well-placed and is going to prove tough to run down. BELLE JADE (11) did well to score at this track two runs ago then last time out was third over 1400m at this track. Tackling a deeper field this time but she is good enough to feature. BLACK MONOLITH (4) resumes today after filling a minor placing at her only appearance last prep at this track over 1600m on December 5. Should camp just off the leaders. Will give backers a great sight. SAMBA FLAVOR (9) raced on the speed and found plenty to score by a neck at this track and trip when first-up from a spell last time out. Likely to be there at the finish again.
