Plenty of pace from Highground, Diddley Squat and Sailor's Rum matching motors ahead of Just Super. SAILOR'S RUM (8) was well in commission last time but ran below expectations when fourth and beaten 2.5 lengths over 1100m at Rockhampton. Has the pace to settle in the leading division and is likely to feature in the finish. HIGHGROUND (9) showed good early dash and led throughout to score by 1.2 lengths last time out over 1000m at Barcaldine. Expected to take some stopping again. THE SQUIRE (6) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at Thangool. Couldn't follow that up last time out when fourth over 1000m at Moranbah, beaten 4 lengths. Meets some better types this time but he has the talent to test this line-up. JUST SUPER (2) has been in the placings at his last two starts, finishing second last time over 1000m at Moranbah. Best figures measure up and is sure to run well. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Quinella 8,9,6.
