Aoi Takeru and Mirage Knight to stride forward and take up the running. MIRAGE KNIGHT (7) lines up for the first time since March 1. Looking to emulate his win at Chukyo to kick off the last campaign. Rates highly and should take some beating. REALIZE AURUM (3) is back at the races for the first time since May 17. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last time in work over 2400m at Hanshin. Yet to win first up but generally runs well with three minor placings from four tries. Comes here with definite claims. YO HIN (6) turned in a fine effort to score by 4 lengths at this track and distance last start to maintain her good form of late. Taking on a better field but she is good enough to cope. BARNABAS (1) was prominent at the turn and finished third last start at the first run back from a spell over 2600m at Hakodate, beaten 3.5 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again.
