Has the upside to go on with the job now with the extra weight. XSPIRITOUS (5) deep into her prep and was a total forgive from the wide gate when tenth over 1010m at Moruya. Earlier efforts were strong and can turn things around quickly for this. JACKPOT STAR (3) lightly raced gelding heading in the right direction. Tidy return in the heavy (8) conditions when sitting on the pace to finish second over 1000m at Albury. Can overcome the awkward gate and stake his claim. HOPE AND GLORY (4) had mixed luck in his three runs back and races on his home track for the first time. Will appreciate the extra trip from the better gate. Sure to be thereabouts.
