Moderate tempo with Lady Bolero leading the way and a few others keeping in touch. DOMINIQUE (7) clocked-in third when first up from a spell last time out at Nagoya over 920m. Has a strong record this course, scoring at three of six starts. Sure to be there at the business end. THUNDER PEKO (3) was in the money two starts back at this track but couldn't back that up when unplaced over 1500m at Nagoya last time. Rates highly on best form and should go a lot better here. A SHIN DRYAD (4) failed to make an impression last time out, settling well back and finishing ninth over 1400m at this track. Looks well placed and a better showing is expected. COPANO LINUS (2) missed the frame last start over 1400m at this track when tenth. No surprise to see him in contention here.
