Strong pace with Nac Dance, Love Me Mary and Quores paving the way. KETEN DREAM (5) did a great job to score by 3.5 lengths over today's course and distance last start in a nice progression on the first-up performance. Norifumi Mikamoto gets the best out of this four-year-old filly. Going up a level this time but she is up to the challenge. QUORES (6) finished seventh last time out over 1200m at this track three-and-a-half weeks ago. Steps up in distance today. Should camp just off the leaders. Leading contender. MELAMPODIUM (1) improved last start but found a couple better over 1700m at Sonoda. The engagement of Masashige Honda is noteworthy. Ideally placed and can give this a mighty shake. KOA LIO (10) is returning from a spell of four-and-a-half months. Finished eighth at this track over 1600m at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Hiromitsu Kurita. Should be primed for this.
