Solid tempo anticipated with Toho Gemma taking charge. INVESTOR (2) strode forward early from his wide draw last start over 1400m at this track only to fade late and finish fourth. Well placed here and should be tough to rein in. TOHO GEMMA (1) was again denied last start when she found one better over 1500m at Nagoya. This is a nice drop in grade so she can feature. OCEA GENESIS (4) hit the frame two starts ago but ran below par last time when seventh over 1700m at Nagoya. Finds a more suitable contest and can turn things around. CROSS RAISING (9) went back early from her wide draw over 1400m at this track last time but hit the line strongly to finish fifth. Worth including.
