Strong tempo with Held, Nessarose and Amiens leading the way. NESSAROSE (7) did a great job to score by 4 lengths over today's course and distance last time out to build on a solid first-up result. It doesn't get any easier but on her best form she is capable of testing her rivals. TANABATA (9) has been out of the frame at his last couple of runs, last time finishing 11 lengths back in tenth over 2000m at Kyoto. Better placed and can bounce back to form. AMIENS (10) steps up in trip and is backing up eight days after finishing third at this track. Has a wide gate to overcome but should be in the finish. HELD (8) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 11 lengths away in ninth over 1500m at this track. Better than recent efforts suggest.
