Off the low draw Arctic Desert has enough speed to lead the way in the absence of a recognised leader. ARCTIC DESERT (4) won this grade at Wagga and then lifted his numbers again, narrowly beaten at Nowra. Maps for the run of the race and he can bounce back. CLIMATE CHANGE (5) is a former Victorian who has switched to the Dryden-Snowden stable on a 50-day return. She won this grade at Werribee two back, and that form would see her hard to beat. The 2kg claimer has to manage a wide barrier and that's a niggle. ALL ASTERN (3) is a leader in good hands and was better at Bathurst. She also draws out but Heywood's booking is a positive. She should give a sight. DRAMA DODGER (7) resumes for the new stable with an encouraging placing at the Sapphire Coast in better class. The 2kg claim helps offset some of the weight increase, and she's worth including. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Arctic Desert.
