Plenty of speed from Mahne Flottant and Kitasan Ribbon. KITASAN RIBBON (7) was well fancied when resuming last start and proved too strong, scoring by 1.5 lengths over 1400m at this track. Has never missed the frame second-up and is a great chance to get the prize again. MAHNE FLOTTANT (9) went forward when resuming last start over 800m at this track and held on well for second, beaten 1.5 lengths. Can cross from an awkward gate. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. ISA CHIL ITOMUSUBI (1) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 5 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1500m at this track after being prominent at the bend. Has the ability to take this out. DRAW APPLAUSE (8) resumes in a similar race to his last run three-and-a-half months ago when fifth, beaten 10 lengths. Lines up today for the first time for trainer Yumiko Iriguchi. Looks a strong top-three prospect.
