A solid tempo is on the cards with Flying Straz and Kahungunu pushing for the lead ahead of Attaboom and Highland Dream. SPIRITED DEFENCE (1) blitzed the Maidens here first up and then came back and missed narrowly, backed off the map. He raced a bit new and will have taken fitness and learning. John Allen rides today and will use an inside gate. He deserves another chance. FLYING STRAZ (2) is a leader resuming for the sharp Moody-Coleman stable. She's Stakes placed and was an easy Maiden winner on the Pakenham synthetic when last seen. She's been off the scene for a while but will be naturally improved and the 2kg claimer will give her every chance. TELL US TOLL (7) led and won her Maiden comfortably here third-up and maps well. She won't have to improve much to feature. RUBIQUITY (3) has some weight relief and was tracking well before the latest. First time on the synthetic and consider.
