Slick pace with Power Hall finding the front but it won't be a picnic with a few other speedy types engaged. MELIOREM (7) kept coming but just failed to pick up the winner last start over 2000m at this track. Has race fitness on his side now. The engagement of Yuga Kawada is noteworthy. Placed to advantage and can take this out. TEUMESSA (10) ran a better race last start, finishing 1.75 lengths away in fourth over 1600m at Nakayama. Finds a nice race and can bounce back. SHONAN RAPIDUS (12) returned from a layoff last start and was beaten 3 lengths into fourth over 2000m at this track. Strips fitter and in unbeaten at the course and distance. Should go close. POWER HALL (3) was beaten just a neck when second at his latest appearance at this track over 1600m. Has drawn wide last two but from the low draw this time will take running down.
