Only a small field but Almalikat Sarah, Redadel and Casterly Rock will ensure a genuine tempo. DARK STRATUM (2) was formerly with the Richard Litt stable in Sydney and makes his local debut here. Close second at Warwick Farm three runs back reads well and a handy effort at Canberra last time. Has to be the horse to beat. CASTERLY ROCK (1) was breathing down the neck of a win in four runs back before a shock flop at the Sunshine Coast when well in the market. Have to be a little forgiving in this small field. ALMALIKAT SARAH (4) was a handy improver despite a big betting drift at her second start and is some chance. REDADEL (3) and SHARMAN PETE (7) look place hopes. SUGGESTED PLAY: Dark Stratum to win.
