Big field with a lot of pace engaged so expecting a strong tempo. SHOW OFF (11) accounted for a maiden field over 1700m at this track last start, finishing a neck ahead of the nearest rival. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Re-unites with Richard Fourie who was on board last start. Can go right on with the job now. LADY SPRINGFIELD (4) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start when she did her best work late but found one better over 1800m at Fairview, beaten 2 lengths. Steps up a level but she is worth serious consideration. KWITE A KING (10) turned in a fine effort to score by a nose at this course and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. TWICE THE MASTER (1) was in the firing line on the turn and finished second last start at the first run back from a spell over 2200m at this track, beaten a nose. Will strip fitter this time. Has a good record at this course and distance, including a win and two minor placings. Capable of another strong performance.
