Smashing Ruby and Montgomery Bay should set a strong gallop. ZEPHYR WINGS (3) struggles to win but is going well, placing in his past three outings. Just found one better at Kerang last time out in this grade and will take catching again. SHRAVAS (16) resumes and could be worth keeping an eye on. He did win his maiden first up over this route last time in before his form tapered off. This is a nice race for him to kick off in. MAGNEA (4) is coming off a win at the Balnarring picnics but did it easily there as the $1.70 favourite and it was only her fourth start. This isn't all that harder. FABERGE TZAR (15) resumes and can be thereabouts. SUGGESTED PLAY: Zephyr Wings on top.
