Genuine pace with Links Elpis taking up the running ahead of Daigo Homare Ryu and Star Hustle. LINKS ELPIS (10) sat just off the speed and fought on well to finish third when resuming last start at this course and distance. Distance specialist with six wins and 12 minor placings from 26 runs and is right in this. DAIGO HOMARE RYU (5) turned in a modest performance when eighth last time out over 1500m at Funabashi, beaten 9 lengths. That followed a win at Funabashi at the previous outing. The engagement of Wataru Fujie is a positive move. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. KITANO FALCON (3) has been kept fresh since finishing fifth over 1500m at this track five weeks ago. Was a determined winner two starts back. Can bounce back to winning form. GARRINCHA (11) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing second and beaten only 2 lengths over 1500m at this track. Looks well placed so expect a bold display.
