Moderate pace only with Tyndall Nine leading Sumishu. SUMISHU (5) finished out of the money two starts back then she was never in contention and was beaten 3.5 lengths when seventh over 850m at Mizusawa five weeks ago. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. TYNDALL NINE (7) hit the frame when resuming two runs back at Mizusawa but couldn't back it up last start when seventh, beaten 12 lengths, over 1200m at this track after being in the firing line on the turn. Likely improver with strong prospects. YUKINO MATSUSHIMA (1) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 14 lengths when sixth in a 1200m contest at this track a week-and-a-half ago. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. TANIMASA BEHKA (2) has not appeared since he finished eighth over 850m at Mizusawa on December 28. Has to be respected.
