Solid tempo with Tuscan Storey leading from Son Of Grace. Moodie-Coleman-trained TUSCAN STOREY (11) led and won the Echuca Maiden comfortably in a quick return to form. Gets in well with the 2kg claim and maps for a soft run. She has more up her sleeve and can take the next step. MAGARTEN (2) resumes off a near-miss at Sandown-Lakeside this grade bet a short-priced favourite. He performs fresh and has been well prepared for the return. He always puts in and he has a handy 2kg claim. Should go close. STUBBYHOLLER (6) will be better for his win at Wangaratta first-up and the 1.2L defeat there following. Has a 2kg claim and can make the finish with average luck in the run. ALLGEMEINE (9) resumes and has been transferred from the Matt Dale yard at Goulburn. She can use the rail and is proven fresh. Missed a nose at Canberra when last seen and that would see her competitive. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Tuscan Storey.
