Little in the way of tactical speed so a moderate tempo is likely. DAIGO HOMARE RYU (4) is a seven-start maiden who finished fifth, beaten 5.5 lengths, when resuming from a spell last start over 1700m at this track. Fitter for that outing and is a great chance to break his maiden status. FULL DRIVE (2) finished out of the money two starts back then he was never in contention and was beaten 6 lengths when sixth in a 1600m contest at this track two weeks ago. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. BENINO GENERAL (6) drifted well back and failed to finish it off last start when seventh, beaten 6 lengths, over 1200m at this track. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. GRAY STORM (5) was safely held on debut last start, finishing well back over 1800m at Kyoto. Plenty of scope for improvement in this easier class and is worth including in all combinations.
