Good early tempo with several going forward, primarily Consigliere, Lady Luck and Ellorix. LADY LUCK (2) ran a fair race when finishing fifth of 17 when resuming from a spell last start. She is having her first run for the Juan Nel stable and should strip much fitter. If suited to this course she can shed her maiden tag. ELLORIX (3) last run over 1400m was disappointing. She has finished second twice and third once from five starts over this distance. On best form shown she should be figuring in the finish. CONSIGLIERE (1) was unlucky not to have won his last start as he was checked at the 300m mark and 100m mark. He gets the services of a 4kg claiming apprentice and jumping from the inside draw should be figuring in the finish. TICKING BOMB (6) has been disappointing in her last two starts but the drop to 1200m may suit her and has to be considered.
