Al Mare City has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. AL MARE CITY (7) scored a win in his lone attempt at this circuit and distance two back then went to the paddock after a fourth at Nakayama at his last run before going for a spell on March 23, beaten 4 lengths. Well placed and looks a strong winning chance. PIEDS FORTS (5) returned from a spell six-and-a-half weeks ago when 14th over 1400m at Tokyo Dirt. Strips fitter and this is much more suitable. URBAN DESIGN (9) has switched yards since racing at Kyoto last time but win at this track and trip three back. Among the chances. KISS ON THE CHEEK (6) was solid when resuming with a six last start at Kyoto Dirt. Fitter so can feature in the finish.
