HIRONO RAMMAN (2) finished third at this track two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 1500m at this track, finishing 13 lengths back in seventh. Tatsuya Nakajima gets the best out of this 10-year-old gelding. Finds a nice race and can atone. KEVIN'S CROSS (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1400m at this track, beaten 9 lengths into fifth after being in the firing line on the turn. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. COPANO PITCHING (7) finished 11 lengths adrift in sixth last time at this track in a disappointing performance. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. MONTE BLACK (3) was beaten 7 lengths into fifth over 1400m at this track at his latest appearance. Better than recent efforts suggest.
