A solid tempo anticipated with Queen Card and Win Protea engaging in an early battle ahead of Lapin Lunaire and T S Fairy. T S FAIRY (5) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at Mizusawa. Couldn't follow that up last time out when second over 1600m at Mizusawa. Yu Suzuki gets the best out of this three-year-old filly. Meets some better types this time but this looks well within her grasp. RODEO QUEEN (9) is yet to break through in four runs. Finished seventh at her last appearance at Niigata on May 18. This offers her a great chance of breaking through. MICROPHYLLUM (2) closed last prep ten weeks ago when finishing rearward at Kyoto. One of the better chances. QUEEN CARD (11) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at Mizusawa over 1400m. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time.
