LUXE BRILLANTE (7) was in the money two starts back at this track but was unable to repeat the effort last time when ninth, beaten 14 lengths, at this track over 1600m. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. PORT TAURANGA (8) finished second last start over 1400m at this track, beaten half a length. Has started two times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. This is an easier assignment and can find winning form.
