Solid tempo expected primarily from Sakki Mitsugu and Alles Gut. MIKKI CHALLENGE (16) resumes from a spell of nine weeks and is having his first outing under new trainer Naoyuki Matoba. Finished 11th at Tokyo over 1400m at the opening run last time in work. Winning chance. ALLES GUT (10) showed good early muster and fought on to finish second last start over 1600m at this track. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is good enough to play a major role. PRESTO STELLA (14) was going well before a spell with two straight minor placings. Proven first-up performer back from a break of four months. Has a solid record at this journey with seven wins from 19 starts and is expected to run well. SORENA (6) was beaten for early speed and didn't come into contention when a disappointing tenth over 1700m at Funabashi most recently. Finds a nice race and can bounce back.
