Fine Rebel or Cuban Dawn to take the lead and attempt to control the tempo. MON ETOILE (8) wasn't far away fresh then ran a close-up third last time. Has won third-up and looks ready to fire now. Expected to go close. FINE REBEL (12) is another going well with a fast finishing fourth at Caulfield followed by a strong third over a similar trip to this at Moe. Drawn to go close. CUDMORE STREET (1) has similar form, placing two back then finishing runner-up and just ahead of Fine Rebel in the Calypso King race. Hard to fault lately and expected to feature again. YOU ROWER (3) resumed this course and distance and just kept finding to score by a nose to record maiden win. That was first run in five months so will strip fitter and is well worth following up. DIONISIO (9) has been building to a win, the latest a narrow second this course and distance. Among the chances with a repeat. SUGGESTED PLAY: Mon Etoile can break through.
