Pace looks genuine from Rita Red, Sizzleist and Sparkles, closely attended by Blessing Season. The race day betting moves will be key. BLACKLIP (3) resumes for a metro yard and is back plenty in grade. He was tried at Stakes level on debut but looked a work in progress. His recent Flemington and Werribee jumpouts suggest he will live up to his promise this time around. MELODEE ROSE (5) raced on a heavy track on debut and was immediately tipped out. Resumes owning a jumpout win at Wangaratta, and a forward run is on the cards. SIZZLEIST (9) has switched to the Scott yards and looked good in her recent Wagga jumpout. Maps well and carries just 53kg with the claim. EXPLOSIVE STYLE (4) resumes and has also switched yards. She got too far back at her only start off two winning jumpouts. Has the inside barrier and is likely to race well. SUGGESTED PLAY: Blacklip appeals most.
